The police will always be on your tail. Here’s how to hide from and escape the cops effectively in Schedule 1 to save your business.

The police are unavoidable in Schedule 1. It is pretty evident if you look at the essence of the game. Players are carrying out an illegal business in a city filled with people. So, the law enforcers are not going to let things slide. The police NPCs work differently compared to other NPCs in the game. Unfortunately, if you get caught, you might lose some of your cash and all of your products! This is why it becomes important to remember how to hide/escape from cops in this game.
NOTE: This article focuses on Schedule 1 and its content, which is a video game set in a fictional world. Items, recipes, etc, mentioned in the article are exclusively from the game and don’t refer to anything in real life.
How Cops Work in Schedule 1
Cops, like all other NPCs in the game, wouldn’t automatically know that you are a drug dealer. So, they tend to be patrolling almost all the time. If you see a cop on the street, chances are they will be suspicious about you. The way they behave is that they continue walking around. If you walk too close to them, they are likely to trigger a random body search. This is to ensure you are not carrying anything illegal on you. Another common behavior is that they surveil the area with their eyes for pickpocketing and drug deals.

Whenever a cop catches you, they will confiscate some of your cash and the products that you have. This can be pretty harmful for the business. If you get caught during a body search, little can be done. However, if you manage to convert your Under Arrest status to Wanted, the police will start using taser guns to slow you down, with one police car chasing you. If the status changes to Wanted Dead or Alive, they will start using pistols, and two police cars will be after you. Whenever they are detecting you, you can tell by the red question mark on them.
Hiding From Cops in Schedule 1
There is no particular way of “hiding” from cops. Whenever you are walking down the road, have cash and products on you, and spot police patrolling the streets, stay as far away from them as possible. Maintaining your distance, while in a car, skateboard, or on foot, will help you avoid trouble for the most part. However, skateboards can get you arrested quickly for the noise they make.

If your status has changed to Wanted and the police are chasing you, you can enter a parking lot. No matter how many there are, climb the ramp, make sure they have come to your floor, then jump outside. They can’t jump with you. Since you don’t take fall damage in this game, you can then make your escape and hide in a secluded alley nearby.
Lastly, one of the best techniques to evade cops is flying away. The flying glitch is one of the most fun glitches in Schedule 1. In the context of getting chased down by policemen, it is also pretty useful. So, if you find some people in blue chasing you, use this flying glitch to get to safety easily.
