There’s a lot to do – you have to manage employees, procure equipment, set up production lines, and so much more. To be the kingpin of Hyland Point, you have to play it smart and learn to designate and automate tasks. This is where the Handlers come into play.
Handlers in Schedule 1 are special NPCs that act as middlemen between your production line and your dealers. These NPCs package and transport goods on your behalf (for a fee, of course), saving you the hassle of doing so yourself. To make the best use of their abilities, you want to automate them by using Handler routes.

How To Use Handler Routes in Schedule 1

To automate your Handler and use the Handler routes, you need to follow the steps given below:
- Approach your Handler and bring up the Management Clipboard by pressing the designated inventory key.
- Press ‘E’ to use the Management Clipboard for the Handler. This will bring up a small menu. At the very bottom, you will see a section for routes that you can assign.
- The routes menu has a ‘From’ column and a ‘To’ column.
- Interact with the menu and go over to the shelf with your finished products and then to the packaging table. The first location you select goes under your ‘From’ tab, and the second goes under ‘To.’ Therefore, your Handler will then go to the shelf with products, take the products FROM there, and then head over TO the packaging station to pack them. This is how you use Handler routes.
