The best way to keep things interesting in Sniper Elite Resistance is by changing your starting location in the game. This will not let things get repetitive for a while and instead allow you to face newer challenges and cope with a mission in a slightly different way. Believe it or not, it will almost feel like a brand-new mission based on where you spawn in a mission area.

But how do you begin a mission with a new starting location? Well, that’s what we are here to answer. However, you must note that there is no easy way of doing this. Players first need to “unlock” these new spawn points, and the only way of doing that is through exploring a mission level as much as possible.

As you can see in the image above, there are no markers indicating where these new locations might be. However, when you read the names of these starting locations, just keep them in mind. Once you are on the map, use visual and audio cues to find these locations. This way, you can find these locations more easily as opposed to getting lost on the map.

As we mentioned earlier, you need to discover each starting point yourself. When you are close enough to a new starting point, the game will give you an intel notification about good “infiltration points.” Pay attention to it. The infiltration point might include a bonfire to interact with or maybe a door that needs to be lock-picked. By interacting with it, you will unlock your new starting location in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Now, when selecting a mission, you will get to the Preparation screen. This is where you do all kinds of changes before starting off a mission, including your loadout changes and spawn changes. Simply select the Starting Location option, and a new window will open up. From there, you can just choose a new location that you unlocked during your first playthrough of that mission and start your new challenge. The location you select will be marked with a “pin” icon on the map on the side. In this case (in the image above), it is located on the bottom left of the map.

This system is a bit similar to the one that you might have noticed in Hitman: World of Assassination, but these two are a bit different. In the latter, you unlock new starting locations and loadout options based on your mastery of a mission and by using different assassination methods. But here, you must manually unlock each mission, giving you more time and depth to explore each map.
