In recent Patch Notes, we read that Slug Shotgun Exploit was fixed alongside a few other minor fixes on May 9th, 2023, Destiny 2 Hotfix 7.0.5.3. There was a small exploit where players could equip any slug shotgun and then swap to another one, their favourite and the most damage-producing shotgun with huge damage output.
