Rainbow Six Siege X features various improvements, including environmental destruction, an audio overhaul, and the new mode, Dual Front.

Dual Front is a new dynamic 6v6 mode that takes place on the new map called District. Players can choose both attackers and defenders on the same team. The objective is to sabotage the enemy sectors and base while defending your own, with the neutral sector lying in the center, ensuring intense action during repositioning.

Additionally, Rainbow Six Siege X will have modernized maps with destructible elements like red gas pipes and fire extinguishers, providing tactical environmental advantages. Siege X will also feature an advanced Rappel mechanism with new motion capture, offering swift maneuverability while sprinting around building corners.

With the audio overhaul rework, players can now pinpoint the location of nearby enemies based on enhanced sound variations for different environments—outdoor, indoor, compact, and spacious rooms.
