On January 1, 2025, FaZe Clan’s social media accounts revealed a visual rebrand for the new year. The brand will now use a new “FaZe Camo” logo and employs a new distorted stylization for all its marketing.

FaZe Clan CEO Richard Bengston, aka FaZe Banks, posted a nine-minute video on X explaining the thought process behind the change. The organization is using the tagline “New Year, New FaZe. Bigger Than Ever” across media platforms to promote the change.

In Banks’ video, he showcased the new logo with rounded corners. The logo had remained unchanged for 14 years until the recent announcement.

FaZe Banks Shows Off New “Digi Camo” Rebranding

Banks explained the new “Digi Camo” rebranding in his video. He said that FaZe Clan members stopped liking the “red tiger camo” design of the previous logo. The CEO was referring to the previous red, black, and white logo seen everywhere, from the organization’s esports shirts to FaZe-branded Totino’s pizza rolls.

Banks explained:

“This digi camo has subtle FaZe logos hidden inside them. I’m obsessed with this. I love this pattern.”

He showed off multiple designs with the same theme and previewed some merch designs. He said that FaZe wants to retain the “2010 energy” from the old branding but modernize it.

He also showed off a flowchart going through the evolution of the official website since its release. Banks asked fans for feedback, stating:

“Hope you guys can appreciate it. I would love to hear the feedback about how you guys like the logo. The camo specifically. I really like the camo, I really f*ck with it. If you don’t like the camo, it’s not ever gonna grow legs and run. But hopefully, you guys f*ck with it.”

FaZe Clan Is Experiencing an Overhaul

In April 2024, FaZe Clan announced that seventeen members were let go from the organization. FaZe Banks made several posts explaining the overhaul:

“One of FaZe’s biggest issues has been how separated everyone’s been in terms of vision, value, type of content, direction career is headed. And all I can really say is, we feel like it’s important to be very clear-cut about who’s actively representing the brand the way we want it to be represented.”

The organization also added creators like Lacy, Jasontheween, and Plaqueboymax, who quickly became popular creators at FaZe. FaZe recently won the “Best Content Organization” award at The Streamer Awards 2024 event.
