Xbox kicked off inaugural Xbox Partner Preview showcasing third-party partners and development studios. We were given trailers and previews for upcoming Microsoft titles like Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, Alan Wake 2, The Finals, and Ark: Survival Ascended. The 30-minute showcase featured 11 game trailers containing new gameplay footage and new before-seen material. In this post, we will explain Xbox Partner Preview Everything Shown.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Create your own Island Resort with narrative-drive RPG Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. In this game, your character will create their own Island Resort. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches next year on January 26th, 2024 for Windows and Xbox Series X|S. The game features aspects of survival games, combat, narrative storytelling, and a job system.

IKARO: Will Not Die
Developed by Futurlab, the award-winning creator of Powerwash Simulator, comes IKARO: Will Not Die. IKARO: Will Not Die is an action-based, fast-flowing action rogue-lite. Rogue-lite games are reward and difficult games that oftentimes have permadeath and randomized levels. From the trailer footage, this seems to emphasize heavy movement and quick gameplay. No release date was given in the trailer, but you can get the first glimpse of IKARO: Will Not Die below.

Still Wakes the Deep
Inspired by the movie “The Thing,” Still Wakes the Deep is an Xbox game developed by The Chinese Room. Still Wakes the Deep is a survival horror game set on an oil rig, as the player navigates environmental hazards and horrors. In an Xbox Interview, the developers stressed the influence of the 1970s genre of science fiction.

Watching the trailer, you can sense the feel, pacing, and this potentially fatal collapsing oil rig. Still Wakes the Deep will be available for Xbox One and Series X|S early in 2024. RoboCop: Rogue City
Part man, Part Machine, RoboCop: Rogue City is set in the heart of a crime-ridden Detroit. Developed by Teycon, and coming to Xbox Series X|S on November 2nd, 2023, this single-player shoot is all about upholding the law. The trailer shows multiple weapons like shotguns, pistols, and machine guns. You also see melee combat and a lot of gore and explosions.

You will have up to 20 weapons available and how you uphold the law is determined by you. Will you be the shoot first ask questions later type of officer, or track clues, find evidence, and bring in criminals with peace? You can pre-order RoboCop: Rogue City as a standard edition for $59.99 USD or the Alex Murphy Edition for $69.99. Along with your typical pre-order goodies, you can gain 48-hour early access before launch. Check this game out if you’re looking for a late-October shooter.
Dungeons of Hinterberg
Arriving on Xbox Game Pass sometime in 2024, Dungeons of Hinterberg is an action RPG game. The protagonist Luisa travels to the Alps in order to conquer 25 dungeons in Hinterberg. Most of the trailer footage showed social aspects of the game and a heavy emphasis on dialogue and storytelling. Building relationships and social dynamics will most likely be the core strength of this game with elements of typical combat RPGs.

Spirit of the North 2
Developed by Infused Studio, Spirit of the North 2 is a follow-up sequel to their original game. Spirit of the North 2 is a 3rd-person adventure game where the protagonist takes the role of a deserted fox. You will have a raven companion on your quest to find your homeland. The game’s trailer featured vast open-world environments, rich with beautiful scenery and danger.

Your quest will take you through the world of Aurora to save the Guardians. The game is said to have visual appearance customizations for your Fox, matching both skill and playstyle. Spirit of the North 2 is set to arrive sometime in the near future on Xbox Series X|S.
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater
Developed by Konami Studios, Metal Gear Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is a tactical espionage action game using the Unreal 5 Engine. Set in the 1960s, the story revisits the Cold War era geo-political landscape as Sneak, the Military Operative begins to investigate a plot.

No release date was given for this single-player game, but the footage showed was Pre-Alpha. Typically this means the game is still in the development “oven” for months or even years. Expect more information to come as development continues.
Manor Lords
Developed by Slavic Magic, Manor Lords is a medieval strategy game coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 26th, 2024. In Manor Lords, you start out as a medieval lord attempting to grow your village into a sprawling city. The trailer shows features of combat, and build, including gridless city-building allowing freedom and creativity to thrive. If you enjoy medieval strategy games, keep this on your radar in the Spring of 2024.

The Finals
If you’re looking for a fast pace action shooter The Finals is for you. This game is a cross-platform multiplayer game requiring an Xbox Game Pass. The Finals features ultra-fast gameplay, and squad and team tactics, and looks reminiscent of battle royale games like Fortnite. The Finals is most likely in development for the foreseeable future with an Open Beta starting on Xbox Series X|S on October 26 – November 5, 2023. You can sign up for The Finals open beta here.

ARK: Survival Ascended
The highly anticipated ARK: Survival Ascended trailer was shown during the Xbox Partner Preview. This is an enhanced version of the popular dinosaur survival experience. In ARK: Survival Ascended, you will experience this cross-platform modding game with the power of the Unreal Engine 5. ARK: Survival Ascended remains one of the most hyped Xbox Partner Preview Everything Shown.

Developed by Studio Wildcard, this game is in “coming soon” status on Steam. According to recent developer tweets and news, this game is set to be released sometime in October of 2023. Time is running out in the month, but expect this game to make a big splash if released as planned.
Alan Wake 2
Set in a small town where the protagonist has to investigate murders, Alan Wake 2 is a single-player horror game coming to Xbox on October 27th. In Alan Wake 2, you can play as the writer, Alan Wake, or FBI agent, Saga Anderson. The standard version includes the game for $59.99 USD while the Delux Edition includes add-ons for $79.99 USD.
