In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Legendary Pal Necromus in Palworld, one of the best combat Pals in the game.
The bustling world of Palworld is filled with Pals for you to collect, letting you live out your fantasy of being a Pokemon trainer (but with guns). Not all Pals are created equal, however. Some Pals in the game excel at what they do, attaining the “Legendary” status. These Pals live up to their credentials through powerful stats and abilities and are naturally hard to find. Necromus is one of the strongest Legendary Pals in the game and is a Dark-type Pal.
Resembling a centaur-esque dark knight wielding two laser lances, Necromus is a force of nature in combat, one that you can ride into battle. If you’re looking for Necromus and don’t know where to find him, our guide is here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to get Necromus in Palworld.
How To Find Necromus
Legendary Alpha Boss
Necromus is a Legendary Pal and, owing to his ‘Legendary’ status, it can only be found as a Level 50 Legendary Alpha Boss in the world. You can find the boss at (451, 682), but beware, as things are not too simple.
The Necromus Alpha Boss is paired with a Level 50 Paladius Alpha Boss, meaning you have to survive a 2-on-1 onslaught if you wish to capture Necromus. To make matters worse, both of these Pals are top tier in combat and make for an uphill battle.
Taking on the two can be a little intimidating but is not impossible. We recommend carrying the Assault Rifle and using it for rapid damage. Pals such as Astegon are highly useful here and will help draw one of the bosses away from you as you focus on the other.
If things prove too hectic, you can also cheese this boss fight. Use Suzaku Aqua to freeze the boss and then use a rocket launcher to launch them into the air for a steep drop. This will eat a chunk of their HP, leaving them vulnerable to capture. Use a Legendary Sphere to capture Necromus.
Huge Dark Egg
Alternatively, you can find Necromus inside a Huge Dark Eggs. Find any of the Huge Dark Eggs scattered across the world and hatch them using the Egg Incubator. The Huge Dark Eggs can drop any of the following Pals:
- Necromus
- Shadowbeak
- Menasting
- Selyne
- Lyleen Noct
- Frostallion Noct
- Bellanoir
- Bellanoir Libero
- Helzephyr Lux
- Katress Ignis
- Xenolord
How To Breed Necromus
Unfortunately, Necromus can only breed with itself. You get a Necromus by breeding a male Necromus with a female Necromus at the Breeding Farm. This will give you a Huge Dark Egg. Take the Huge Dark Egg to the Egg Incubator and place it on the device. You then have to wait for a bit, after which the Huge Dark Egg will hatch to give you Necromus.
