Kinich is a 5-star Dendro claymore user in Genshin Impact. Here is a guide on how to build the best Kinich.

The Saurian hunter Kinich was released in version 5.0 of Genshin Impact. Functioning as a main DPS, he is one of the best Dendro DPS units in the game. Kinich relies on his Elemental Skill to attain extreme mobility in combat and dispatches enemies with the help of K’uhul Ajaw (self-proclaimed Almighty Dragonlord).
If you are planning on pulling or already have him, then read on for a complete guide on building Kinich.
Kinich’s Best Artifacts

Kinich’s best artifact set is undoubtedly Obsidian Codex. This set confers a 15% damage bonus when the wielder is in Nightsoul’s Blessing. It also gives a 40% increased CRIT rate when one Nightsoul point is consumed. As with other Natlan characters, Kinich’s Elemental Skill is fueled by Nightsoul points and puts him in Nightsoul’s Blessing. Thus, he is able to make perfect use of the Obsidian Codex set.
Among other artifact sets, Unfinished Reverie is especially useful in Burning teams. This set relies on enemies being consistently burning to provide a 50% damage boost.
Ideally, you will want an ATK% sands, a Dendro DMG% goblet, and a CRIT circlet. Your sub-stat priority should also be CRIT rate, CRIT damage, ATK%, or Energy Recharge.
Kinich’s Best Weapons

Naturally, Kinich’s best weapon is his signature, Fang of the Mountain King. This weapon puts one stack of Canopy’s Favor on the wielder for each hit of the Elemental Skill. It also grants three stacks if Burning or Burgeon is triggered. For each stack, the wielder’s Skill and Burst damage are increased by 10%, with a maximum of six stacks.
Kinich’s Elemental Skill is his primary tool, and he is best used in Burning teams, so this weapon is perfect for him in all scenarios. His second-best weapon is the Beacon of the Reed Sea, which increases his damage when the Elemental Skill hits an enemy. However, there are some other options if you don’t have these five-star weapons.
If you have access to the Battle Pass, the Serpent Spine is a good weapon for Kinich. The best free-to-play option is the Earth Shaker. This increases the wielder’s Elemental Skill damage by 16% for eight seconds when Pyro reactions are triggered.
Kinich’s Best Talents to Level

Firstly, the top priority to level for Kinich is his Elemental Skill. Kinich’s Nightsoul’s Blessing state makes his normal attacks become Loop Shots, and his Elemental Skill becomes Scalespiker Cannon.
This talent will buff the damage of his Loop Shots and Scalespiker Cannon, which make up the majority of his damage. Secondly, you can consider leveling his Elemental Burst. This will increase Kinich’s off-field damage and let him focus more on one target. His normal attacks are a low priority and should be leveled last.
That was the complete guide to building the best Kinich possible in Genshin Impact. What character do you want to see next?
