GTA Online is packed with a ton of businesses that players can invest in. These businesses are a good way to earn extra income while doing other activities like heists or contact missions. However, as much as we all want to own all of the business, not all of them are worth purchasing, especially if you are just starting out.
To help you choose the right venture to invest in, here is a tier list for all GTA Online businesses, ranked for the month of March 2025.

S+ Tier Businesses
These businesses are a must-have in the game as they provide the most income even in the later stages. However, some may require other businesses to function to maximum efficiency.
The Bunker is not just a money-making business but also provides a few important upgrades for your arsenal. The research can unlock powerful weapons and ammo that can help in clearing missions easily. On top of the weapons supply that you can sell for profit, there is an extra mission where you send surplus weapon parts to Ammu-Nation for another $50,000 every 48 real-time minutes.
The Nightclub is, no doubt, the most profitable business in the game. However, it requires multiple other businesses to run. Once you set up a Nightclub, you also gain extra profit through the wall safe that generates $50,000 every 48 real-time minutes. However, in order to maintain the passive income, you need to keep the popularity of your Nightclub high. This can be tedious at times, especially if you have to escort a VIP through a car without going too fast or crashing.
Acid Lab is arguably on the best business to have in the game due to how easy it is to set up. You only need to complete the First Dose mission and complete a few contact missions to unlock upgrades. Once the Acid Lab is ready, you just have to keep it stocked up, wait for the supplies to come rolling, and sell them for profit.

S Tier Business
The two Motorcycle Club (MC) Businesses, Meth Lab and Coke Lockup are only recommended as they are two of the best business to link to your Nightclub. The sell missions for these businesses can be a bit tedious. Most of the time you will just ignore them and let the Nightclub generate the money for you. Alternatively, you can just resupply these businesses and sell the stocks to deals scattered throughout Los Santos.
What makes the Agency a good business to invest in is the wall safe that is currently the only true passive income. You don’t have to do anything for it to generate money over time. However, you can increase the amount it generates permanently by completing Agency contracts.
A Tier Business
These businesses are usually ignored unless you have spare money to invest. Special Cargo Warehouse is also one of the recommended businesses to link to your Club House. You will need to do a ton of grinding if you want to make this business work out and produce a decent profit. Alternatively, just ignore it while the Nightclub generates money for you. The Vehicle Warehouse is also the same.
The Salvage Yard can be a fun little business to have. However, you will most likely only take it seriously during x2 payout events.
The Arcade is also one of the interesting businesses to have. The profit is quite decent but is not really a requirement for anything else. If you want an extra profit that you can check back every few hours, consider investing in this. Otherwise, prioritize the higher-tier businesses.
The FIB Business requires you to purchase the Darnell Bros Garment Factory. Similar to the Nightclub and Agency, it can also generate passive income.
Weed Farm and Counterfeit Cash Factory are part of the MC Businesses. You will mostly be investing in this if you want to link it to your Nightclub. Otherwise, you can do the sell missions or just ignore them completely after purchasing them.
The Auto Shop is a fun business to have and gives you extra space for vehicles. Aside from that, you will most likely be grinding this business only during x2 bonus events.

B Tier Businesses
These businesses are the most useless in GTA Online. The profits you get from these are abysmal and are not worth the effort. You should just avoid the Bail Office, Smuggling Business (Hangar), and MC Business Document Forgery Factory if you aim for bigger profits.
