The Artifact system in Throne and Liberty is a unique system that allows the players to boost their characters through unique bonuses and skills. Each artifact set comprises six components and is categorized into three rarities. However, all of them provide unique bonuses depending on their rarity. The game offers several different methods to get your hands on the valuable artifacts that we’ll cover later in this guide. Additionally, you can choose from 14 different Sets for stat boosts which have 3 tiers, and you can mix and match. It will ultimately significantly boost your character’s capabilities. In this guide, we’ll discuss how the artifact system affects your gameplay in Throne and Liberty and how to obtain them while progressing.

Artifact System Overview in Throne and Liberty

Artifact System in Throne and Liberty is a unique feature that enhances character progression and customization. This system allows players to equip artifacts that provide both passive bonuses and active effects. Artifacts are divided into sets, each consisting of six components. The bonuses are designed to enhance specific aspects of gameplay. This allows the players to modify their builds. Each artifact possesses a main stat and has additional traits that further customize character abilities. There are also set bonuses on artifacts and each has a 2-set, 4-set, and also a full 6-set bonus.

You can obtain the artifacts through various in-game activities. Nebula Island has some creatures that drop artifacts, making it the best stop to farm them. Completing the group dungeons also rewards you with artifacts. Abyss dungeons in Talandre are also the main source of artifacts. You can choose six different slots available, and four minor slots are for Talistone, one active slot for Solar Stone, and one passive slot for Lunar Stone. This configuration allows you to modify your builds for several combat scenarios.

Increase the artifacts to enhance their potential. You need rare materials to level up your artifacts. These materials can be acquired by looting the enemies or finding them randomly. The artifact’s primary attributes increase with each enhancement level. However, some artifacts have a failure rate, so you need to maintain a balance between risk and investment.

Artifacts are equipped in designated slots, but they have a limited number of active slots. This allows you to make a strategic plan, allowing you to modify your artifact selection. You need to complete the “The Child Who Embraces the Star” Quest and arrive at Castle Harbor to unlock the Artifact System. You get six distinct slots to put Artifacts of your choice into. Each slot takes a different part of the slots, providing additional bonuses to your character. Stat bonus effects are obtained through artifacts. You can check them in the “Stat Effect” section on the upper left of the UI.

How to Get Artifacts

Artifacts are also a huge pain as the RNG is also very much present there. First of all, you can only farm artifacts in the Talandre zone open-world dungeons. You need to decide which artifacts you need. Open the map, go into each open-world dungeon, and click on the monster. Check if that monster drops the artifact or not. Each open-world dungeon drops different set artifacts, but the RNG doesn’t stop. As you can see, the monster drops a random chance box. Every monster on the island drops artifacts.

This has six possible artifacts as a drop. You might want Chaotic Murder 1 but you drop Chaotic Murder 3. There are also some other ways to farm artifacts. There are always in the battlepass and a Nebular Island Merchant has 15 selection chests per week. You can open as well as artifacts that also dropping in Nebula Island itself because it’s a PvP open-world dungeon. You can also obtain Artifacts in Abyss Dungeons in the Talandre Continent.

There’s also artifact transmutation where you can pull all the trash artifacts for a chance to possibly get the one you want with good stats. There isn’t the most efficient and effective way to farm artifacts with good stats.

Opening the Artifact page, you will notice six different items that can be equipped. The four corner artifacts are called Talistones, the left middle one is called Solar Stone, and the right middle one is called Lunar Stone. There are Common, Uncommon, and Rare artifacts. Eight different artifact sets provide set bonuses at 2, 4, and 6. Each of the Talistones gives different stats. The top left gives offensive stats like critical hits and heavy attacks. The top right gives defensive stats like evasion, endurance, and defense. The bottom left gives you utility stats like Mana regen, stamina resistance, and skill heal. The bottom right is a mix of offensive and defensive stats.

Equipping Chaotic Weapons of Murder

1 shows all the offensive stats. Each Talistone that you drop rolls three of these stats at random. However, the worst part is that it also rolls the stat amount. There’s no possible way to re-roll stats or amount. This means that RNG is absolutely off the charts and getting the best slot artifacts takes time. The bottom right Talistone on top of all the previously mentioned RNG also has a chance to drop any of the stats like Max Health, Defense, and Damage.

Solar Stone and Lunar Stone are a bit different but RNG is the same. You have a possible chance first to drop the stats you need, then the amount, and then the main stat. Solar Stones will unlock an active skill while the Lunar Stones unlock a passive skill. Hovering over each possible set, you can see which powerful skills each set gives. They are also needed if you want to equip and use a sex set artifact bonus. Normally, you want to build a two-set offensive like crit or hit and a set defensive like evasion or endurance. Solar Stone and Lunar Stones are dependent on the skill effects you need for the build, focusing on the two set bonuses.
