Builds – All Weapons and Weapon Combinations
Unlock the complete potential of your character in Throne and Liberty with strategies and insights derived from hours of playtesting and build crafting. We are working to create a build for each available weapon and role in Throne and Liberty, and the following list will expand as we develop more builds. Beginner Builds – Level 1 to 50
Crossbow Beginner Build
The Crossbow Beginner Build uses Crossbow + Wand for mobility, single-target damage, and healing. This build is helpful for beginners who want range damage and healing.
Dagger Beginner Build
The Dagger Beginner Build uses Dagger + Greatsword and focuses on AOE damage, mobility, and stuns. This is the ideal build for melee damage dealers who want some survivability.
Greatsword Beginner Build
The Greatsword Beginner Build uses Greatsword + Sword and Shield and focuses on AOE damage, off-tanking, and crowd control. This build is useful for players who want to tank dungeons, and have great survivability and good damage.
Longbow Beginner Build
The Longbow Beginner Guild uses Longbow + Wand and Tome with the ability to do damage and heal. This is the best range DPS build for survival and off-healing.
Staff Beginner Build
The Staff Beginner Build uses Staff + Wand and Tome so you gain AOE damage and healing. This build blends powerful area damage with good survivability while leveling.
Sword and Shield Beginner Build
The Sword and Shield Beginner Build uses SnS + Wand and is focused on tanking and group PVE. This is a great build if you intend to tank or heal dungeons while leveling and eventually at the game.
Wand & Tome Beginner Build
The Wand Beginner Build uses Wand + Crossbow, blending damage and healing. This is a good build if you want range damage plus mobility.
Leveling Builds – Level 1 to 50
Crossbow Leveling Build
The Crossbow Leveling Build uses Crossbow + Staff and focuses on single target damage, mixed with AoE and DoTs.
Dagger Leveling Build
The Dagger Leveling Build uses Dagger + Crossbow and focuses on single target damage, mobility, and stuns.
Greatsword Leveling Build
The Greatsword leveling Build uses Greatsword + Dagger and focuses on AOE damage, off-tanking, and crowd control.
Longbow Leveling Build
The Longbow leveling Guild uses a Longbow for damage and range and a Wand for healing and group support.
Staff Leveling Build
The Staff and Wand is perfect for leveling and blazing through content quickly in Throne and Liberty.
Sword and Shield Leveling Build
The Sword and Shield leveling Build uses SnS + Wand and is focused on tanking and group PVE.
Wand & Tome Leveling Build
The Wand Beginner Build uses Wand + Longbow, blending damage and healing. This is good for leveling if you want some survivability and healing plus damage.
Solo Builds – Level 50
Crossbow Solo Build
The Crossbow Solo Build uses Crossbow + Wand for ranged single-target damage, and healing that drastically improve survivability.
Dagger Solo Build
The Dagger Solo Build uses Dagger + Greatsword for powerful close-quarters melee combat that prioritizes critical hit and burst damage.
Greatsword Solo Build
The Greatsword Solo Build uses Greatsword + Sword and Shield and provides survivability, AOE damage, off-tanking, and crowd control.
Longbow Solo Build
The Longbow Solo Build uses Longbow + Wand and Tome for fantastic survivability and strong ranged damage.

Sword and Shield Solo Build
The Sword and Shield Solo Build uses Sword + Greatsword for fantastic survivability and crowd control, along with strong melee damage.
Wand & Tome Solo Build
The Wand Solo Build uses Wand + Staff, giving you great survivability and healing, along with ranged AoE and Dot damage options.
PvE Builds – Level 50
Crossbow Build
Focused on mobility, the Crossbow PvE Build has high single-target damage. This build is meant to move, strafe, and nuke one target at a time.
Dagger Build
The Dagger + Staff focuses on burst damage and AOE. Use this if you want a balance of range, melee, single-target, and AOE.
Greatsword Build
The Greatsword shines in area damage and crowd control. This melee weapon is the best for both damage and survivability.
Longbow Build
It’s a stationary build that deals single-target ranged damage. You use a Longbow and a Crossbow in your off-hand to deal some of the highest PvE damage in the game.
Staff Build
When it comes to range area damage, the Staff is the overall best. Pick this build if you like flashy animations and big damage.
Sword and Shield Build
It focuses on damage reduction, aggro generation in PvE, and crowd control. The Sword and Shield combined with a Wand and Tome is the genuine tank build.
Wand & Tome Build
The build emphasizes high survivability, ranged damage, and group utility. It is unique due to its ability to deal powerful damage while also providing incredible survivability. This build is specifically designed for group and solo PvE content.
