Traits in Throne and Liberty are used to boost and enhance a weapon by altering the stats associated with it.
The world of Solisium in Throne and Liberty is beautiful, with serene beaches, mountains, forests, and cities. However, it is also dangerous due to the monsters crawling everywhere. To be prepared means to carry the best gear with the best upgrades. Traits in Throne and Liberty allow you to enhance your weapons by adding additional stat boosts.
In this guide, we shall go over how you can unlock Traits and use them to make your weapons stronger.
Unlocking Traits in Throne and Liberty
The simplest way to unlock Traits in Throne and Liberty is by finding another piece of the same weapon you wish to enhance. You can either go out hunting for the duplicate, or you can craft it if you have the materials required. Once you have two identical pieces of the same weapon, simply visit a weapon crafter and go to Equipment Enchanting. Go to the “Traits” tab and click on the weapon you wish to unlock Traits for.
The identical piece will be displayed in the “Materials” section and be used to unlock the Trait. Click on “Unlock Trait” at the bottom of the screen to unlock the trait. This will cost a certain amount of Sollant.
Alternate Ways to Unlock Traits
If you’re struggling to find an identical piece, you can also unlock Traits by using the Trait Conversion Stone. This Stone can be used to replace one of your existing weapon Traits with a new one. It requires Trait Conversion Stones and is also expensive, charging as high as 25,000 Sollant. It replaces your pre-existing Trait with a new one.
We recommend sticking to the method we shared above of using an identical weapon to unlock Traits, as that method unlocks a new Trait and stacks it with your previous Trait.
Another way of unlocking Traits is by buying Trait Extracts from the in-game Auction House. These extracts have different boosts that you can apply to your weapon. We recommend keeping this as a last resort as you have to compete with other players for the item, and, should you win, you may end up paying unreasonably high amounts.
