Unlike other NCSoft games, Leveling in Throne and Liberty is a natural process. Power leveling or leveling up fast is a common wish for players in MMOs and RPGs. To open up more activities like access to the more difficult and rewarding content, one must reach the maximum level in Throne and Liberty. A Quest and Events-based Leveling progression system is introduced that will help you climb the level fast.
Getting to a max level which is level 50 right now in the game is not that hard but you need to grind for it. Leveling in Throne and Liberty is based on several quests available in the game. However, the other alternate way of leveling up is grinding enemies but it’s not that efficient. Focus on completing Quests in Throne and Liberty to reach level 50 fast. Upon the completion of the quest, you gain EXP which is crucial for leveling in the game. The devs bring something new to their project but certain basic principles of all MMORPGs will remain unchanged.

Deep Dive into Leveling and Different types of Quests
Leveling 1-50 in Throne and Liberty is easy but you are required to complete the Exploration Codex with some Adventure Codex and Co-op Dungeons. Four different types of Quests are available in the game. These quests will let you level up fast in the game but some quests are more worthy than others.
- Main Storyline Contracts – Purple
- Exploration/Side Contracts – Blue
- Resistance/Daily Contracts – Yellow
- Guild Contracts – Green
Main story quests should be your number one priority when leveling up in the game as these quests offer the best EXP gains. You can also upgrade your gear and level up your skills through the free materials you’ll gain upon completing these quests. Complete the side quests in Throne and Liberty to gain extra EXP but they work as a filler between Main Story Quests.
At the start of Chapter 3 of the main story quests, you’ll be able to unlock the Daily Contracts. Completing the Contracts is the best way to craft and upgrade materials that will not only help you to become stronger but also to level up fast in the game. Upon reaching to Max level, there’ll be main Quests you will continue completing. The game offers Guild Contracts only to the Guild members and they can earn EXP and other rewards upon completion of these quests. Keep in mind that the Guild Contracts available to you are not an effective way to level up fast in Throne and Liberty.
Codex
The crucial thing to learn when leveling up in the game is knowing what kind of Quests are available to you and what each objective icon looks like. Press the “J” key or open the main menu to access your codex.
Main Story Quest
Adventure Codex or Main Story Quest is purple. These quests are the most important quests that should be on your priority list while leveling up in the game. Upon the completion of these quests, you will gain a huge amount of EXP that helps you gain one level after the other. However, the main story is categorized into Chapters with several shorter quests each. This is the main reason that you should try to focus on fulfilling your Main Story Quests when they are available in the game. To unlock the next Main Story Quest, you need to search for NPC with the purple marker over their head.
Side Quest
Exploration Codex or “Side Quests” can be found throughout the world as you progress. These Exploration quests are Blue and each zone offers its own side quests. Keep in mind that the Higher level of the zone, the higher the EXP reward you will gain. The EXP you gain here has a worth but not as EXP gained through the Main Story quests. Most of these appear automatically when you move into the new zone and ask you to complete easy objectives.
Contracts
You can get these contracts from the Contract Vendors in most major towns. A huge amount of EXP and growth materials are gained by completing these daily contracts in the game. Sollant and Abyss Contract Tokens are the rewards that you’ll earn from these contracts after completion. Unlock the daily contracts by completing Chapter 3 of the main Quest. You’ll gain access to the new Contract Managers by leveling up and moving to the new areas.
The new Contract managers offer new more difficult contracts with better rewards. It’s worth mentioning that before and after you hit the maximum level, the Daily Contracts are going to be a major part of your Daily Routine. The Contracts require you to kill the enemies in that area or nearby location, gather materials, or complete other tasks.
Guild Contracts
Guild Contracts are of green color and they give good rewards for both you and your Guild. These rewards include EXP and Sollant which will help you level up in the game. Guild Contracts are united by every guild member in Throne and Liberty. Guild Contracts automatically appear to your entire guild in the game and replace the old one after you complete the precious contract. Only the Guild leader can change an active Guild Contract but the guild leader must have guild resources for that.
You’ll be rewarded with Guild and Individual Guild member rewards after the completion of Guild Contracts. You also gain extra Contribution Rewards that are proportional to member’s contribution. Use the Guild Coins on the Guild Contract Manager to achieve useful items in the game.
Dynamic Events
Earn EXP alongside the other items as a reward from the Dynamic Events in the game. The Dynamic Events take place every three hours and introduce objectives in the zone that you can complete to get several useful rewards. Dynamic Events in Throne and Liberty offers a huge amount of EXP that will surely help you to level up fast.
Like Contracts, Dynamic Events must be on your priority list of daily routine work after you hit the maximum level. Dynamic Events can be in the shape of World Boss Events, or collection-based Events. While the world boss events give great items and EXP rewards, the collection-based events also help you to level up fast. Different types of events have different objectives and you can use the Event Calendar to check which upcoming events you want to take part in.
Dungeons
In Throne and Liberty, there are many Solo and Group Dungeons that you can complete to gain multiple rewards. All of the Dungeons provide you with a huge amount of EXP and the best gear in the game. For farming the gears in the game, completing the dungeons is one of the efficient ways. Open World Dungeons (Abyssal), Taedal’s Tower, and Co-op Dungeons (Dimensional) are the types of dungeons that grant you EXP upon completion.
Taedal’s Tower
Secret Dungeons or Taedal’s Tower are solo dungeons where you fight bosses in the game. There are 20 levels and they grant you a small amount of XP and other rewards like Skill books and Growthstones in the game. In Taedal’s Tower Contracts, you can rechallenge a floor again, ranging from 10F to 20F. You can buy up to 3 from Sundries Merchant every week. Some of the rewards that you can achieve are:
- 6xPrecious Stalon Ore
- 2xPrecious Rubrix Ore
- 28xTraning Dew: 10,000 points
- 5xPrecious Emeret Ore
Try out the Gate of Infinity after completing the Taedal Tower. The Taedal’s Tower grants rewards that include crafting materials that will help you improve your character. Finishing all 20 floors of Taedal’s Tower requires some time and more patience.
Dimensional Co-op Dungeons
Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty are group tasks especially made for 6 party members. Once the Co-Op dungeon is completed, you will gain additional EXP and leveling experience. As you level up in the game, you’ll have 3 dungeons available to you.
- Specter’s Abyss (Level 20)
- Roaring Temple (Level 30)
- Cave of Desperation (Level 40)
Obtain Dimensional Contract Tokens in Throne and Liberty to gain several rewards and EXP that will be useful for leveling up fast. You can see the tokens in the top right of your screen after hitting level 20. Complete these Co-Op Dungeons with your guild-mates or you can also utilize the matchmaking tools to find players. You can earn Sollant and other rewards for leveling up your character by completing these Co-op Dungeons.
Abyssal Open World Dungeons
You must have Abyssal Tokens to fulfill the Open-world dungeons and obtain loot from them. The Abyssal Tokens will be unlocked after you hit level 18. However, these Abyssal Open World Dungeons will not help too much for leveling up fast but are utilized to farm gears in the game.
Leveling Tips and Tricks for Throne and Liberty
Below is a guide on tips and tricks for fast leveling in Throne and Liberty:
- You’ll constantly gather Abyss Points, then spend them when clearing out dungeons. The Abyss points help you to boost the amounts of XP and Sollant you receive. You must have as many of them before entering another dungeon.
- Finish all the daily contracts available in your area. These contracts offer bonus EXP for completing specific challenges or objectives. Absorb these contracts into your regular gameplay as you’ll get extra EXP and rewards, advancing your leveling process.
- Get access to the Exploration Quests by activating Waypoints in a zone.
- Try to focus on your more powerful skills and Skills upgraded as you level up in the game.
- Progress your character by collecting your rewards from the Adventure Codex and your Leveling Log.
- Enhance your character’s level by using Growthstones across all weapons, Armor, and Jewelry.
- Move around the map faster and mark Exploration Quests in your zone.
- When there are gaps in the Main Questline then you need to complete the side quests, which provide a huge amount of EXP in the game.
Fastest and Best Leveling in Throne and Liberty
Completing the Adventure Codex with some Exploration Codex Quests and Co-op Dungeons will help you to level up from 1 to 50. So, Find any ADVENTURE CODEX available to you and complete it as soon as possible to level up fast. Find the Exploration Codex in the appropriate zone level and complete them. Heal to the NESTING GROUND zone and accept the Exploration Codex there if you somehow reach level 23 and are done with Chapter 4 of the Adventure Codex.
To level up fast or progress your character, you can earn XP from the Exploration Codex Quest tied to an active dynamic event available in your area. Recommended Contracts to Level up to Endgame
You can use the Co-op Dungeons if no Adventure Codex is available to you in the zone. These Dungeons give you a huge amount of EXP and reward you with character leveling. Also, Your priority while leveling up in Throne and Liberty should be Adventure Codex Quests, Exploration Codex, and at last, Exploration Codex Quests tied to ACTIVE DYNAMIC Event.
Below are the recommended quests or contracts you must complete to level up your character quickly in the game:
- Level 1-18 (Tutorial through Main Adventure Codex Chapter 3)
- Level 18-21 (Complete the main story quests in Chapter 4)
- Level 21-23 (Exploration Quests, Main Adventure Codex, side quests, and Co-op Dungeon for Chapter 4 Main Adventure Side Quest)
- Level 23-25 (Complete main Adventure Codex in Chapter 5)
- Level 25-28 (Monolith Wastleands Exploration Quests with Monolith Wastelands Contracts from Vienta Village Contract Manager, Explorations Quests from the Nesting Grounds, and side Quests from Main Adventure Codex)
