Sniper Elite Resistance allows players to use Special Ammo in their weapons for that extra kick! The game doesn’t have many missions available. Since it is a sandbox game, replayability matters a lot. The developers tried their best to avoid repetitive gameplay by introducing features like Special Ammo to keep things interesting.

You don’t initially have access to all Special Ammo. Instead, you find them as you gradually explore the world of Sniper Elite Resistance. Players can choose which ammo to bring with them on a mission on the Preparation screen. This can be done by selecting and changing the Loadout. Players can also change their Starting Location before a mission to ensure that they spawn in an area where the ammo boxes have certain types of ammo they can loot. This brings me to my next point: you can also loot these Special Ammo from ammo boxes in Sniper Elite Resistance.

When looting an ammo box that has a certain type of Special Ammo, you will get the option to either pick up that ammo or swap it for the ones you already have equipped. Remember that you will start with the Regular Ammo and unlock other types as you progress through the game’s missions and explore often.

Players can switch between Special Ammo by opening the multi-wheel, hovering over their selected weapon, and choosing the ammo in the center of the wheel. This can be done using the D-pad on consoles.
