The expansion brought some cool and deadly creatures, each with different powers and taming methods. In this article, we are going to discuss some of the top choices for taming in Ark Survival Ascended Extinction, which gives an exhilarating experience and guarantees an adrenaline rush. However. this list doesn’t feature any creature from the paid DLCs. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the list of top 5 creatures that you should tame in Ark Survival Ascended Extinction.
1) Snow Owl
Snow Owl is one of the best creatures you can tame in Ark Survival Ascended Extinction, which can be tamed with superior kibble, raw mutton, and raw prime meat. Spawns in Snow at the northeast, this creature serves as one of the best mounts, especially for traversing and scouting. It can fly and glide at high speed and decent stamina. The infrared vision of the Snow Owl assists in tracking and sensing dangerous lurking creatures in your surroundings.
Unlike any other, creatures, Snow Owl possesses a healing ability. It is used to heal wild creatures while taming, which is especially helpful when you are attempting to knock any low-health creature. When taming other creatures, Snow Owl also helps by freezing them and restricting their movement. Although incredibly slow, its neck sweep and tail sweep can annihilate multiple enemies at once with devastating impact. The creature also has access to several ranged attacks. One of these involves vomiting acid toward the enemies while the other features a powerful charging beam attack like Godzilla.
