When does Baldur’s Gate 3 release on Playstation 5?
In early 2023 developer Larian Studios made an announcement of the official release date for Baldur’s Gate 3. It will release on August 31, 2023 for PC/Mac and Playstation 5 players.
It is currently available in early access for PC/Mac players through Steam, but gamers on Playstation 5 will have to wait for the full, official launch date before being able to jump into the story and gameplay.
Baldur’s Gate 3 on PSN
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story and character rich role-playing game developed and published by Larian Studios. As the name suggests it is the third game in the Balder’s Gate series, and the story structure and gameplay mechanics are all based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop RPG system. Consequently, player choices made in the game can have a significant impact on how the story will play out.
The game offers a robust and varied class system, allowing players a wild array of options when it comes to discovering a playstyle they like. As of this point in early access there are 11 classes available, and later on players are able to specialize their character further by choosing from two or three different sub-classes.
