What is the most efficient way to unlock the West Gate Path in Blue Prince? Here’s a quick guide to help out all the players.
West Gate Path is one of the locations in Blue Prince that will open to players permanently in a run. However, getting to it is slightly confusing. Not only does Blue Prince contain some brain-scratching puzzles, but unlocking new locations in the game might require you to piece some clues together as well. The West Gate Path is an example of that.

A Quick Way to the West Gate Path in Blue Prince
A preliminary requirement for opening the West Gate Path in the new puzzle game is that you need to draft two new rooms. These rooms are the Garage and the Utility room. If you have already drafted one of them, don’t worry; there is no specific order to drafting them. Moreover, they don’t need to be next to each other. In fact, we suggest that you place the Utility Room in a location where it doesn’t hinder your progress. But this room is very important, so don’t skip it.
Once you have crafted the Utility Room, walk inside and find the breaker. Just to be safe, you should also turn all the VAC indicators on. If you don’t want to, you can also experiment without it. Either way, flip the Garage switch On. This will turn on the power inside the Garage and ultimately help you open the garage door. Since the Garage can only be drafted on the leftmost side, the way leading to the West Gate will always be the same.
Head outside the door and keep on the path ahead until you reach a trail heading left. You will eventually come across a wooden plank bridge. Cross it, and you will eventually find the West Gate. Open it, and the path will unlock permanently during that run. You will then have access to a bunch of rooms and additional content that you couldn’t get before.
