Should you play this build?
The ESO Stamina Necromancer PvP Build is an absolute brute. It has one of the hardest-hitting abilities Blast Bones along with one of the most survivable skills in the game Spirit Guardian. However, it takes a bit of time in order to figure this out and can be quite complex. The strength of the class is its sheer survivability with little effort. Stamcro is notoriously hard to kill due to a couple of buffs and passives. Stamina Necromancers also possess a unique burst potential along with high damage over time pressure. The downside is, they are very slow on the battlefield unless completely spec’d for it. This Stamcro PvP Build will lean into what the class does well, big DoT pressure and burst with high survivability! If you’re looking for a group DPS build click HERE, one bar build HERE or a PvP build HERE. Also, consider watching me on Twitch where you can ask me questions about my current builds.
Last updated May 9, 2023 for ESO Update 37 Scribes of Fate. The build has been updated for a high single target DoT pressure build. The bombing playstyle of old is very hard to pull off in a tank meta. Moreover, this class lacks a lot of mobility so pairing it with a two-hander and a gap closer solves a lot of issues while keeping damage and resources sustain very high.
Below is a general PvP Guide that can help anyone understand and developer their PvP knowledge and skill. This video is applicable for every build and should be viewed if you want general ESO PvP knowledge that applies to all aspects, Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil and Imperial City.

Pros | Cons |
High Burst | Predicable Damage |
Great AoE | Constant Buffing |
Good Ultimates | Warden is Better |
Skills
SETUP 1 SOLO: Front Bar: Two-handed (1vX Gear setup)
Front Bar Weapon Options: They are all good choices depending on your playstyle and needs. Experiment with what works best.
- Two-handed has the best passives for sustain and burst.
- Dual Wield has the best passives for pure damage and big AoE damage.
- Bow has great burst damage with the Toxic Barrage ultimate at range but needs 2-3 abilities for damage to make it work.
Stalking Blastbones (Morph of Blasbones | Skill line: Grave Lord) - Main nuke before you launch in. If you can sustain, go with magicka based blast bones.
Stampede (Morph of Critical Charge | Skill line: Two Handed) - Gap closer with hard hitting dot that is amplified by back bar weapon.
Camouflaged Hunter (Morph of Expert Hunter | Skill line: Fighters Guild) - Flex skill used for more damage and counter gank. Use mortal coil for better sustain depending on your monster helm choice.
Executioner (Morph of Reverse Slash | Skill line: Two Handed) - single target execute used when at or near 25% health. You can dodge cancel this ability for a quicker animation by casting ability, than immediately dodge rolling. A bit advanced but if you do it right, you won't even see the animation.
Ruinous Scythe (Morph of Death Scythe | Skill line: Bone Tyrant) - Your main spammable that heals you and procs an important status effect.
Dawnbreaker Of Smiting (Morph of Dawnbreaker | Skill line: Fighters Guild) - AoE conal damage and stun paired with blastbones for insane damage.
SETUP 1 SOLO: Back Bar: Frost Staff (1vX Gear setup)
Front Bar Weapon Options: They are all good choices depending on your playstyle and needs. Experiment with what works best.
- Two-handed has the best passives for sustain and burst.

Werewolf Bar
If you choose to play this as a Werewolf, here's what you need to know. In this build Werewolf pairs greatly with a new mythic, the Oakensoul Ring, because as the werewolf, you have only one bar regardless. If you are playing as Werewolf, use these skills and ultimate:
Feral Pounce (Morph of Pounce | Skill line: Werewolf) - Great for closing distance and double cast for execute.
Hircines Bounty (Skill line: Werewolf) - Incredible heal that gives us major brutality
Deafening Roar (Morph of Roar | Skill line: Werewolf) - AoE stuff that sets off balance and gives major breach and minor maim.
Howl Of Agony (Morph of Piercing Howl | Skill line: Werewolf) - Strong conal damage in front hits harder
Claws Of Life (Morph of Infectious Claw | Skill line: Werewolf) - Incredible debuff and damage over time that heals very well.
Pack Leader (Morph of Werewolf Transformation | Skill line: Werewolf) - The ultimate gives you a boost to weapon damage/spell damage via minor courage and you take 10% less damage.
