In this guide, we shall go over how to beat the Chromatic Ballet in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, one of the tougher bosses in the game.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s opening hour introduces a grim, desolate world teetering on the brink of extinction. However, push past this opening hour, and you’ll discover a world teeming with strange and dangerous wonders. Few encounters reflect this mix better than the Chromatic Ballet.
The Chromatic Ballet is exactly what it sounds like: a deadly dance. This trio of enemies performs a hypnotic ballet routine designed to entice and lull you into a false sense of safety. The moment you drop your guard, the blades come out, and the boss fight begins. The Chromatic Ballet are flying enemies, making them trickier to defeat. Their airborne status, combined with their dance, makes them almost slimy, slipping and dodging through their attacks. This is incredibly frustrating, but there’s a way to work through this.
If the Chromatic Ballet is giving you a hard time, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we shall go over how to beat the Chromatic Ballet in Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

As stated earlier, the Chromatic Ballet is a trio of flying enemies. This means they have an increased likelihood of dodging your attacks. If you wish to have a chance against them, you need to rely on aimed attacks. We recommend using the Augmented Aim Pictos to boost your free aim damage by 50 percent, while also increasing the Crit rate.
The Ballet is a trio, and each member of this trio is weak to different elements. The left-most enemy is weak to Fire, the middle to Dark, and the right-most to Ice. Keep their individual weaknesses in mind when attacking them.
As far as the attacks go, the Ballet is fairly standard with the exception of the Enchanting attack. This attack inflicts charm, and will render one of the party members useless if successful. You can parry this on the third explosion, or bring along an Anti-Charm Pictos to negate the Charm.
The Ballet dishes out a mix of fire projectile, ice projectile, and melee-based attacks. We recommend dodging the projectiles and parrying the melee attacks. The projectiles have an audio cue you can use to dodge, and the melee is fairly standard and easy to read.
