Destiny 2 Combined Action Hand Cannon

Destiny 2 Combined Action God Roll and How to Get

Welcome to our Destiny 2 Combined Action God Roll and How to Get Guide. Combined Action is an Aggressive Frame Arc Hand Cannon that can be obtained as a drop from any Legendary Engram or from Banshee-44 as of Season of the Deep.

Combined Action Hand Cannon

Hand Cannons hold a unique place in Destiny’s sandbox. They are a favorite in PvP as dueling weapons but tend to be outclassed in PvE due to their slower fire rate. Aggressive Frames really shine in PvP with their high damage and range, but are typically the worst for PvE as they have the slowest firing rate of all hand cannons. Certain Arc weapons can roll with the elemental specific traits Eddy Current and Voltshot.

Combined Action can be obtained by random legendary engram drops or from rank up packages at Banshee-44 in the tower. You can rank up Banshee-44 easily by dismantling weapons and armor you don’t need, and by completing his daily bounties. You can also check Banshee-44’s rotating weapon inventory for possible rolls.

Barrel: The barrel choice on this weapon in PvE is really all about preference. Anything that increases Range and Stability are the best options.

Magazine: Since the magazine size on Aggressive Frame hand cannons is terrible, we want to improve that number. Avoid Extended Mag however as it destroys the already terrible reload time on these weapons.

Column 3 Trait: Column 3 lacks any really great options for PvE. Eddy Current is interesting enough, especially with an Arc build, to make it the best option here.

Column 4 Trait: Since we are building into Arc builds here, we may as well go with Voltshot to cause even more Arc mayhem. This actually pairs really well with Eddy Current as you need to reload to proc Voltshot.

Origin Trait: Field-Test is a decent origin trait the basically just gives you passive bonuses as you kill enemies.

Masterwork: As with the barrels anything will do here. Honestly nothing is a bad choice.

Mods: Minor Spec in higher level content to make sure you get the one-shot kills with this hard hitting weapon. In lower-end content feel free to flex it out since you will most likely get the one-tap anyway.

Conclusion: This weapon has some fun potential with Arc builds, but that’s honestly all it has going for it. Nation of Beast is a better option by far and is craftable, making the god roll easier to obtain. If you do get a good roll of this weapon, it would be fun to use though.

PvP Combined Action God Roll

Barrel: In PvP range is king, so bumping that up is the most important thing you can do. Any Barrel that does this is a great choice.

Magazine: Accurized Rounds is the best option here as it gives the largest boost to range.

Column 3 Trait: Flinch can be nasty in PvP, causing you to lost out on a dual just because you missed one shot. No Distractions helps with that quite a bit.

Column 4 Trait: The Payload perks are great in PvP. Not only do the help with damage falloff, they also cause a decent amount of flinch.

Origin Trait: Field-Test is a decent origin trait the basically just gives you passive bonuses as you kill enemies. Its slightly less useful in PvP than PvE, but mileage will vary.

Masterwork: We want Range, but Stability wouldn’t hurt either.

Mods: Targeting Adjuster is just a great option for PvP all around.

Conclusion: This Hand Cannon isn’t going to be a PvP machine, but it isn’t bad. The Timed Payload perk will make it a decent dueling weapon. That being said, there are much better options for hand cannons. I can’t recommend chasing this weapon.
