’Tis the Season for Drake-Slaying! The Season of the Dragon Celebration begins Thursday, January 26 at 10AM EST, and runs until Tuesday, February 7 at 10AM EST. Throughout the event, you can collect special Reward Boxes and benefit from increased drops to Daily Quests, Dungeons, and Trials throughout the regions of Northern and Southern Elsweyr.
To participate, you must have access to the Elsweyr, Dragonhold, Wrathstone, or Scalebreaker DLCs, which are all available right now via ESO Plus™ membership or available for purchase from the in-game Crown Store. You can then kick off the festivities by obtaining the introductory quest “Bane of Dragons,” available for free within the in-game Crown Store or from Samara, found near the Impresario tent outside of Rimmen.
Reap Marvelous Treasures
During the Season of the Dragon Celebration, you and your fellow adventurers can net a Glorious Elsweyr Reward Box once per day upon finishing the first Daily Quest in Northern or Southern Elsweyr, or from the first Sunspire Trial Weekly Quest completed that day.
Glorious Elsweyr Reward Boxes can contain the following items:
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green, blue, or purple Elsweyr salable treasure
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A blue or purple Elsweyr overland set item
- A chance for one of the following:
- Elsweyr crafting style item
- Elsweyr crafting motif style page
- Anequina, Pelletine, Dragonguard, Shield of Senchal, and New Moon styles
- A chance for one of the following:
- Transmutation Crystals, Dragon’s Blood, Dragon’s Plunder, Dragon’s Rheum, or Dragon’s Bile
- Elsweyr treasure map
- Dragon document recipes
- NEW Claw-Dance Acolyte armor style page
In addition, you can earn Regular Elsweyr Reward Boxes by participating in the following activities:
- Finishing the Bane of Dragons introductory quest
- Repeating Daily Quests
- Slaying Dragons/world bosses in Northern or Southern Elsweyr
- Defeating Wrathstone and Scalebreaker dungeon bosses
- Opening treasure chests
- Opening safeboxes
- Looting objects such as barrels, crates, etc.
- Looting Psijic portals
- Cracking open Thieves Troves
- Harvesting crafting resource nodes
These less-rare-but-equally-as-enticing Regular Elsweyr Reward Boxes can contain the following items:
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green or blue Elsweyr salable treasure
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green, blue, or purple Elsweyr overland set item
- A chance for one of the following:
- Elsweyr crafting style item
- Elsweyr treasure map or survey report
- Elsweyr crafting motif style page
- Anequina, Pelletine, Dragonguard, Shield of Senchal, and New Moon styles
- Transmutation Crystals, Dragon’s Blood, Dragon’s Plunder (1k salable), Dragon’s Rheum, or Dragon’s Bile
- A chance for one of the following:
- Dragon document recipes
- Claw-Dance Acolyte armor style page
Impresario & Event Tickets
Additionally, during the event period, you’ll receive one Event Ticket for the first Daily Quest completed in Northern Elsweyr and another for the first Daily Quest finished in Southern Elsweyr. This means you can earn up to 26 Event Tickets during this event, allowing you to acquire the following items from the Impresario event vendor:
- All three Passion Dancer Blossom pet fragments
- Chartreuse Lily Petals
- Enchanted Silver Flute
- Mystical Sheet Music
- The first Passion Muse personality fragment
- Bottle of Silver Mist
- Bound style pages for the following:
- Claw-Dance Acolyte Armor Pack
- Impresario Group Repair Kits
- Companion Guild Commendations
The Season of the Dragon Celebration will serve as your first opportunity to obtain this year’s Morphing Collectible: Passion Dancer Blossom pet.
Additionally, you can get your hands on the first of three morphing fragments for this pet, the Bottle of Silver Mist, which serves as one of the ingredients to build the Passion’s Muse personality. Finally, the Impresario’s colleague, Nenulaure the Indrik Vendor, has the following items available for purchase with Event Tickets:
- Nascent Indrik Feathers

- Haunting Indrik pet

The Season of the Dragon Celebration in-game event begins next Thursday, January 26 at 10AM EST, and continues until Tuesday, February 7 at 10AM EST.
The ESO Season of the Dragon Celebration is the first ESO event of the year and the first chance players will have to collect tickets and morph this year’s specific pet collectible. You’ll want to jump into the game and collect as many tickets as possible so that you can be sure to morph and collect all of the special items this year. So far the Passion Dancer Blossom pet is the only one which has been revealed. What other times do you think ZOS will offer for event tickets?
