In the Shadow of the Relic Quest
This is one of three side quests where you can unlock one of the Unforgiveable Curses! This quest will unlock the Avada Kedavra curse.
Return to Feldcroft Catacomb
- Talk to Ominis at the catacomb
- Ominis will tell you that Sebastain has already gone into the catacomb and that together you must find and stop him
- Find Sebastian at the catacombs
- Enter the Feldcroft Catacomb
- Defeat the Inferi
- You should be at least somewhat familiar with this place since this was the site of In the Shadow of Time Quest. There is only one way down and that is forward.
- Multiple Inferi rise up out of the ground in the second room. Remember that fire spells should be used against these enemies
- Keep moving down into the large circular room with the central dais, where you will face more Inferi. Expect a fight, as there will be a lot of them.
- After the fight, Ominis stops to speak with you. He leaves to return to the castle, leaving you on your own
Searching for Sebastian
- Find Sebastian
- Head through the bone barricade door you opened the last time you were here. There will be more Inferi at the bottom of the stairs
- Go through the door straight ahead from where you came in after the fight.
- Use Revelio in the next room to highlight several pull chains and a skeleton dais. Break the pull chains with Accio and then pull out two sets of bones with Wingardium Leviosa and take them to the totems. This will create a staircase you can use to move forward.

- Up the stairs and through the door will find Sebastian
- Talk to Sebastian
- Before you can convince Sebastian he’s wrong, a cut scene takes over
The Dark Arts
- Defend yourself against Solomon
- There will also be a number of Inferi to deal with in this fight. Despite the boss HP bar, Solomon is a pretty standard wizard opponent – at least until his HP gets down to the last third. Then you need to stay on your toes, as he will repeatedly cast a powerful fire tornado spell.
- In general, fill your spell diamond with red combat spells, throw jars and barrels, be ready to dodge and always trigger Protego accurately and you should come out on top.
- Follow Sebastian
- He’ll run all the way back out of the catacomb without responding to your calls
- Talk to Sebastian
- Once outside you’ll have a chance to speak with him
- Now is your chance to learn the killing curse, if you dare
