In the Shadow of Time Quest
This is one of three side quests where you can unlock one of the Unforgiveable Curses! This quest will unlock the Imperio curse.
Travel to Feldcroft
- Enter the catacomb
- Travel to the Feldcroft Catacomb
- Find the relic
- Move down the passageway and into the first open room, where spiders will immediately come down to attack
- Moving on, down into a second room there will be another spider fight.
- Finally, you’ll come to a larger third room with a skeleton in pieces on a dais in the center.
- Cast Accio on the bones and carry them straight over to the ‘doorway’ made of bones beyond and them release them.

Bone Barricades #1
- You’ll be repeating this same mechanic three times for each bone barricade you come across
- There is one more set of bones in the central room you can find after using Accio on a pull chain
- And the third set you can find behind the broken door – blast it out of your way using Confringo. Use Accio on the pull chain and then again to grab the bones that were behind it
- Once you bring the third and final set of bones to the barricade it will open, but go back and speak to Sebastian before you go through it
- Speak to Sebastian
- He’ll be waiting to discuss with you at the dais
- Find the relic
- Walk through the bone barricade you just opened and down into the room below
- Speak to Sebastian
- He says that he believes you’ll need the Imperious curse at some point in this adventure and he offers to teach you
- You’ll have two options to choose from in the dialogue: Say that yes, you want to learn the curse, or no you wouldn’t. You can also ask more about it.

- As soon as you finish the conversation, spiders climb down and attack
- Spider Room
- To progress the quest take the passage way which leads to a room blocked by spider web and full of spiders. Confringo is your best bet to burn away the web and help defeat the spiders
- Next you’ll want to burn away the webs in front of a small opening in the wall on the right side of the room. There will be a chest back there with a Legendary item inside
- Once you have your item, head back two rooms before this one. You’ll be facing another bone barricade

Bone Barricade #2
- The first pile of bones you need will be just to the right of the door
- The other two piles are behind stone slabs which can only be opened by pulling on the correct combination of pull chains along the top of the walls.
- To drop the first slab – Accio the pull chain up above the Z block symbol and then the pull chain above the circle/swirl symbol
- The second slab comes down when you Accio the circle with three separate swirls in it and then the pull chain above the Z block symbol
- If you’re having trouble, look at the slabs – they will have the correct symbols you need in order to open them.
- Take each skeleton and add it to the bone barricade
- Spider Room #2
- Go through the opening in the bone barricade and go forward and then turn left
- Spiders will drop down as you enter the room
- When they are defeated, burn the web at the back of the room. There are two scrolls on the stone tablet you need to pick up and then you’ll find the relic
- Speak to Sebastian
- Leave the catacomb
- You’ll meet Ominis on the way out
- Wait for Sebastian and Ominis to finish talking
- Persuade Ominis
- Ominis asks you to talk to Sebastian and persuade him that he’s on the wrong path. You have to choose to side with either one Slytherin student or the other
- Leave the catacombs
- Trace your way back out of the tombs, speaking to Sebastian along the way

Return to Feldcroft
- As you approach Sebastian’s home, you find it under attack
- Defend Feldcroft from Ranrok’s Loyalists
- Join Solomon and Anne as they fight to defend the hamlet
- After the battle a cut scene will follow
- Speak to Sebastian
- You can either affirm his choice or agree with his uncle
- Speak to Solomon Sallow
- You try to convince him otherwise, but he wants nothing to do with Dark magic and if he hears that either of you continue to practice it, he promises to tell the Headmaster
