Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial Quest

Access the Headmaster’s office
- Whisper the password
- Head up the stairs and into the office. Walk up to the desk to trigger a cut scene with Niamh’s portrait

Find the book in the Headmaster’s office
- Go up the stairs to the right hand side of the desk
- Using the book will trigger another cut scene

First Section of the Trial
- Crouch and cast the Disillusionment Charm
- This sneaking section can be very tricky – if you need to, don’t forget that you can lower the game difficulty at anytime.
- You can make your way past the towns people without being spotted, but don’t cross the path of a death if they are looking in your direction
- Listen to the comments your character makes for directions on what to do or where to go next if a way becomes completely blocked

- Make your way forward to the quest marker and pick up the object
- After putting on the cloak, step through the metal gates ahead of you
- Now you can walk past even the deaths without being spotted at all
- Head towards the quest marker, and then after a big of dialogue, pick up the object Niamh offers

Second Section of the Trial
- Blast away the broken wall in front of you with the Bombarda spell
- Run forward and a bit to the right towards the castle-like structure. This will start a combat sequence where you get to test out this powerful wand.
- A Duelling Feat challenge will pop up, with a running timer
- At the end of the battle the black smoke will clear and you can make your way forward again
- In the next area another combat sequence begins. This is how the whole second section will proceed. Defeat the deaths to move on, rinse and repeat
- After the third and epic battle, head towards the quest marker to move on and pick up a mysterious object

Third Section of the Trial
- Carry the stone towards the quest marker, but don’t immediately run up to the grave with it. Look up above and wait for the giant death to leave first
- After it is gone, walk up and interact with what appears to be a stone form

Witness Niamh Fitzgerald’s memory
- Follow Niamh down the path
- Interact with the pensieve and watch the memory cut scene
- Return to the Map Chamber
- Speak to the newly arrived keeper
- You will automatically speak to Professor Fig after
