San Bakar’s Trial Quest

Begin the Third Trial
- Speak with Professor Fig
- You’ll find him in the Map Chamber
- Meet Professor Fig in San Bakar’s pensieve chamber
- Open up your Field Guide map, click on World Map and fast travel to the nearest floo marker you have available. Fly on a broom or mount the rest of the way
- Find the clue to open the pensieve chamber
- Cast Revelio. You will see a large amount of foliage/vines highlighted in blue. You can easily burn them away with a Confringo spell
- Speak with Professor Fig
- He’ll deduce that you need to tame and bring a Graphorn to the chamber entrance
Lord of the Shore
- Search for the Lord of the Shore
- This location is over 1000 steps away, so best to use a mount or broom to get there
- Enter the Graphorn’s den
- Hitting the next quest marker will trigger a cut scene
- You’ll then have to defeat the Graphorn in combat. There really isn’t any special strategy to use here – only regular red combat spells will work against him. Nothing else, not even the Dark Arts spells if you have them, will do anything against him.
- When he reaches the end of his HP bar a cut scene will trigger and you’ll be asked if you want to Kneel or Attack. Choosing Kneel will unlock the Graphorn as a mount.
- Return with the Graphorn to the pensieve chamber
- You can ride the Graphorn all the way back if you like, but if you’d prefer to switch to flying mount or broom to speed up travel a bit, you can.
- If you’ve switched methods of transportation, remember to switch back to the Graphorn before approaching the chamber entrance
- The stone platform in front of the entrance will light up with magic and you’ll see the paw prints showing approximately where you should place the Graphorn
Witness the Pensieve Memory
- Witness the Pensieve memory
- Dismount and make your way through the chamber
- You’ll automatically interact with Bakar’s portrait on the way
- Continue to make your way forward and interact with the pensieve basin to watch a dramatic cut scene
- Use the magical passageway
- Return to the Map Chamber
- Speak with the Keepers
- You’ll automatically speak to Professor Fig after
