The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom Quest

Visit the Room of Requirement
- Check in with Deek
- Head to the Room of Requirement
- Clicking to enter the Room will trigger a cut scene
- Let Deek know when you are ready to leave
- Speak to Deek and the game will automatically transport you outside
Rescue Magical Beasts
- Follow Deek
- Rescue a puffskein
- Equip the Nab-Sack item and approach a nearby puffskin
- Follow the tutorial instructions
- Talk to Deek
- Meet Deek near the Jobberknoll habitat
- The distance will be a bit of a hike, best to use your broom to get there quickly
- Speak to Deek
- Rescue a Jobberknoll
- As Deek just recommended, use Levioso in order to slow down these flying creatures to make them easier to capture
- Talk to Deek
- Meet Deek near the mooncalf habitat
- This location isn’t as far away, but still best to use your broom for fast travel
- Speak to Deek
- Rescue a mooncalf
- If it isn’t already after dark, you can advance time by Waiting
- To do this, go into the Field Guide and pull up the Map. On the bottom right-hand side of the screen is a list of commands, one of which is Wait. Press the corresponding button for your platform.
- As you approach the group of mooncalves, cast Levioso at one from a distance. Otherwise they will all run off and you’ll never get close enough
- Talk to Deek
Vivarium Addition
- Return to the Room of Requirement
- Pull up the map and use a floo fast travel marker
- Going inside will trigger a cut scene
- Meet Deek inside the new creation
- Release the rescued beasts into the vivarium
- There will be a tutorial prompt to open up the beast menu
- Gather materials
- Follow the tutorial instructions for collecting the following materials from your magical creatures. Just as in Beasts class, you’ll need to equip food and a brush onto slots in your spell diamond.
- Collect a Jobberknoll feather
- Collect Puffskein fur
- Collect Mooncalf fur
- Follow the tutorial instructions for collecting the following materials from your magical creatures. Just as in Beasts class, you’ll need to equip food and a brush onto slots in your spell diamond.
- Speak with Deek
- He will show you how to use your new materials
- Exit the vivarium
The Enchanted Loom
- Conjure an Enchanted Loom
- Equip the Conjuring spell to your spell diamond and choose the loom from the menu
- Use the Loom
- Add a trait to an item of clothing
- Upgrade an item of clothing
- Approach the loom and a tutorial will appear. Once you’ve read through it, choose a piece of gear from the images of what you own on the right.
- Once a piece is chosen, the menu will shift and a new menu will show you what material you need to upgrade and how many pieces of that material it will take
- Tell Deek you have used the Enchanted Loom
