As you reach the last few floors of Taedal’s Tower in Throne and Liberty, the challenge rises to unprecedented degrees. Survive these floors requires great patience, upgraded gear, and a well-rounded build. Floor 16’s Immortal Guardian is the gatekeeper placed to ensure you are at your best in the final stretch. This formidable boss can be extremely frustrating to take on.

This guide goes over the level requirements to face the Immortal Guardian, the weapons and skills you need to use, and the reward after beating the boss.

Required Level for Facing Immortal Guardian

The Immortal Guardian is a gargantuan boss who lives up to his name. You will find him on the floor named Precise Moment. The boss begins the final quarter of the 20-floor-long boss rush; naturally, has a considerably high-level requirement. You need to be at Level 41 to take on this boss.

Defeating Floor 16 Immortal Guardian in Throne and Liberty

The Immortal Guardian wears its Souls-inspiration on its sleeves, forcing you to engage in a slugfest. Use melee weapons to deal with the boss. There are pillars around the arena and the Guardian routinely jumps onto these. The floor then glows red, and this is your queue to immediately jump to a pillar. Jump on the same pillar as the Guardian as he takes no damage unless you two stand on the same pillar.

The pillars are small and cramped, meaning you have barely any room to maneuver around. Dodging is not an option and you will have to rely on perfect blocks to survive. Block the attacks, memorize the patterns, and punish the boss right after his combo enders.

Best Abilities to Use Against Immortal Guardian

Equip the Stalwart Bastion active skill. This Sword and Shield ability reduces incoming damage and is of great use against the Guardian. Also, use the Immortal Pride passive skill as it provides a massive health boost and is ideal against a boss that hits hard.

Best Weapons to Use Against Immortal Guardian

Use the Sword and Shield against the Immortal Guardian. He hits like a truck but does so with a predictable pattern. Keep in mind that you’ll also be doing this in the cramped spaces of the pillars. This makes the Sword and Shield ideal for blocking and punishing.

Rewards for Defeating Immortal Guardian

Beat the Floor 16 boss gets you the following rewards:

  • 3x Rare Weapon Growthstone
  • 6x Rare Armor Growthstone
  • 4x Rare Accessory Growthstone
  • 10x Quality Recovery Crystal
