The Mad Red Pyromancer is the sixth boss in Taedal’s Tower in Throne and Liberty, and he can be found on Floor 6.
Taedal’s Tower in Throne and Liberty has been pushing players to their limits. The Taedal’s Tower dungeon takes you to 20 different floors, each housing a very difficult boss. What’s more, the bosses get harder the further up the tower you go. As you’re making your way through the early stages of the tower, the Mad Red Pyromancer on Floor 6 may prove to be a roadblock.
In this guide, we shall go over the level requirements for the Mad Red Pyromancer, how you can defeat it, the best abilities and weapons you should use against it, and the rewards that await you past this hurdle.
What Is the Level Required for Mad Red Pyromancer?
The Mad Red Pyromancer awaits you on the sixth floor of Taedal’s Tower. As you go up the tower, there is an increment in the level requirements for bosses. You need to be at Level 24 to face the Mad Red Pyromancer.
How to Defeat Floor 6 Mad Red Pyromancer in Throne and Liberty
To defeat this Pyromancer, you need to understand and analyze the arena you fight the boss in. The arena has four pillars that you can get on top of. These rise from the ground at certain intervals so keep an eye out for them.
The Pyromancer has a large AOE attack that sets the ground on fire. Immediately grapple to one of the pillars each time the ground starts burning. Use ranged weapons from the pillar to deal damage. The boss also teleports around the area. Use ranged weapons to chip away at his HP.
Best Abilities to Use for Mad Red Pyromancer
We highly recommend using the Nature’s Blessing active skill. This Longbow skill fires four arrows that deal massive damage. Another skill we recommend is the Sniper’s Sense passive skill. This increases your chances for crits the further the target is. As the Pyromancer teleports away from you, you can use the skill to your advantage.
Best Weapons to Use for Mad Red Pyromancer
The Pyromancer’s burning ground attack ensures that you spend a good chunk of the fight atop one of the pillars. The boss also teleports around seemingly on a whim. Keeping these in mind, we recommend the Longbow as the best weapon for the boss. Dodge the attacks, stay on top of the pillar, and use ranged attacks to win. The ranged weapon will also ensure that you don’t have to run across the area every time the Pyromancer teleports.
Rewards for Defeating Mad Red Pyromancer
The boss drops the following upon defeat:
- 4x Quality Weapon Growthstone
- 8x Quality Armor Growthstone
- 5x Quality Accessory Growthstone
- 10x Recovery Crystal
