The Amulet of Selune’s Chosen is an uncommon accessory you can get from Dror Ragzlin’s treasure pile in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
Amulet of Selune’s Chosen
In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen is a necklace accessory which provide the wearer with a free cast of the Selune’s Dream cantrip once per Long Rest. Selune’s Dream is a bit of a risky cantrip because while it will heal an ally for 1~8 HP, there is also a chance that it will cause them to fall asleep. The Sleeping condition in Baldur’s Gate 3 lasts for two turns and during that time the effected target cannot move or take any other action. Additionally, the creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws. Moreover, all attacks against them have Advantage and any successful hits are automatically Critical Strikes.
While this can make the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen seem like an incredibly risky chance to take, if you’re in need of extra healing in your party it might be worth it. You can remove the Sleeping condition fairly easily if another member of the party is nearby to use the Help action to wake them.

How to Get Amulet of Selune’s Chosen in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen you’ll have to enter the Shattered Sanctum at the Goblin Camp and defeat a Hobgoblin named Dror Ragzlin, so that you can loot the key needed to open the door to the treasure pile. Dror Ragzlin is one of the three leaders of the Goblins. You can find the Goblin Camp at about the center of the Act 1 map. Make your way past the guards outside through either combat or dialogue responses.
You’ll then need to enter the Shattered Sanctum. You can find the Hobgoblin Dror Ragzlin in a large throne room area to the north west of the Sanctum. He’ll be attempting to speak to a dead Mind Flayer. More importantly, he’ll have an audience of goblins who will turn hostile whenever you choose to attack.
How to Get the Treasure Key from Dror Ragzlin
Depending on your story choice there are two ways to get the Key from Dror Ragzlin and find the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen:
- Loot the key from his dead body.
- This obviously requires fighting him and all the others in the room, at the very least. Be careful, because if there are other goblins outside the room nearby they may raise the alarm and bring more combatants inside.
- Pickpocket the key from him.
- This will require proficiency in the Sleight of Hand skill. Additionally, with all of the onlookers it may be tough to crouch and sneak up behind him without anyone seeing you.
Once you have the key from Dror Ragzlin, you’ll find the locked Iron Gate to the treasure room back up behind the central throne area where the Hobgoblin was standing. Go around back up the stairs behind him and you should find the locked gate set back a little ways in the center. Once you’re inside, interact with the treasure pile to find the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen.
