How to Get Copper Ore in Enshrouded
To get Copper Ore in Enshrouded you will need to have access to the Revelwood area. Once you have access to the region the best area to farm copper ore can be found directly west of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. In order to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 3.
If you’ve already completed that spire and unlocked the fast travel there, then you should have an easy time finding it. From the spire, head to the west. You should come to an open field with rocky areas. You’ll find not only Copper Ore, but also Lumps of Clay to mine.
You will need a Pick Axe to mine copper ore in Enshrouded. Remember that the better quality pick axe you have, the faster you will be able to gather materials.
Additionally, when mining copper ore in Enshrouded you can also use Skill Points to unlock an ability called Mason (2 points). With this skill active, your pick axe will deal 30% more damage against stone and resource veins.
Moreover, when you’re mining with a pick axe you’ll be using up a lot of your Stamina wheel. Therefore, bringing along food like honey or other consumables with stamina regeneration or endurance is advised. This will help maximize the speed of gathering and the amount of materials you can collect in a run.
Finally, if you unlock the Miner skill (4 points), it will grant you a 10% chance to get more resources when mining.
What is Copper Ore, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll need a lot of copper ore to make copper bars, which are used to upgrade some workstations, for crafting mid-game weapons and shields, and for upgrading tools like the grappling hook and pick axe. Additionally, it’s also important to know that you’ll need to reserve 15 copper ore for upgrading your alter to Flame Level 4.
In order to create copper bars from all that copper ore you’ve collected, you will need to craft the Smelter for the Blacksmith. First you’ll need to have crafted a Kiln for the Blacksmith. Secondly, you will need to have found the Carpenter.
Once you’ve completed those steps you should receive a quest from the Blacksmith called Crucible Needed for a Smelter. Follow the steps in your journal and marked location on the map and you’ll eventually be able to create a Smelter.
In order to create copper bars in the Smelter you will need 20 copper ore and 20 charcoal. This will produce 10 copper bars for you to then use on weapon and item upgrades.
How to Make Copper and Bronze Bars
Some recipes in Enshrouded are smelted into Copper and Bronze Bars for Copper. Smelting can be done with the Blacksmith’s Smelter. Complete the Crucible Need for a Smelter quest to unlock the Smelter in the game. You can get this quest from the Blacksmith, so make sure to unlock Blacksmith. You need to collect 20x Charcoal and 20x Copper for 10x Copper Bars and then use 7x Copper Bars, 3x Tin Bars, and 10x Charcoal for Bronze Bars. So, make sure to have a Smelter in your base. You can use these ingots to craft armor sets like Guardian Armor Set, Adventurer Armor Set, and Tank Armor Set.
Best Copper locations in Enshrouded
You can locate many Copper veins around the Ancient Spire in Revelwood. The best location to find Copper is by gliding down from the fast-travel point. Get access to the Ancient Spire and then teleport back to this location to get a huge bundle of copper. Make sure to travel to the northwest of Ancient Spire to get these two locations of copper.
