Penitent Greaves is one of those items that can be worn by anyone, regardless of their class. These greaves provide a very good damage boost with crowd-control abilities. How To Get Penitent Greaves
The easiest way of getting unique items is to reach World Tier 3 and 4. Penitent Greaves can be dropped randomly in these tiers. Additionally, players can get them from the Helltide event chest or Tree of Whispers. Note that players have to clear the Cathedral of Light Capstone dungeon to reach World Tier 3.
If players are unable to acquire these greaves in World Tier 3, they can go to World Tier 4, i.e., Torment 1. The difficulty is going to increase, but the chances of receiving unique items also increase.
Penitent Greaves Features
These greaves are non-class items, which means anyone can wear them. It has a special effect that leaves behind a frost trail that chills enemies. Additionally, the chilled enemies take 12-25% more damage. Here are other buffs Penitent Greaves provide:
- When players evade, they get +125% movement speed for two seconds. Also, evade provides unhindered for two seconds.
- These greaves provide 16-25% increased movement speed.
- An increased 4-6% critical strike chance against chilled enemies.
- The greaves grant +41.5-55% chill slow potency.
- In addition to the above-mentioned stats, it also provides 46.5-60% increased cold resistance.
