In order to inflict Dazed with the Ring of Spiteful Thunder you must meet three conditions. First, you must use a spell or weapon that deals Thunder damage. Secondly, the enemy must already have the Reverberation condition. And third, your target will need to fail a Constitution Saving Throw.
Reverberation is a stacking status effect that can be applied to enemies, debuffing their strength, dexterity, and concentration. Additionally, it can cause Prone at 5 or more stacks. Several gear items in BG3 can apply Reverberation, including Gloves of Belligerent Skies, Boots of Stormy Clamour, and Spineshudder Amulet.

How to Get Ring of Spiteful Thunder in BG3?
To get the Ring of Spiteful Thunder in Baldur’s Gate 3 you need to reach Act 2 and safely find your way through the Shadow-Cursed Lands to Moonrise Towers. Inside, on the main floor, you can find trader Roah Moonglow on the western side and purchase the accessory from her.
Step 1- Find Moonrise Towers
You can enter the Shadow-Cursed Lands from two separate points. The first uses an elevator in the Grymforge to arrive at a point in the far north. The second method requires taking the western fork in the Mountain Pass to enter at a more southeastern point on the map.
The Mountain Pass is a better method for getting into the Shadow-Cursed Lands and finding a Moonlantern. Travel with the convoy of Aboslute cultists and you’ll have an opportunity to get a Moonlantern from Kar’niss.
Step 2- Find Roah Moonglow at Moonrise
If you arrive at the front gates to Moonrise Towers with the convoy then Kar’niss will vouch for you with the guards. Without Kar’niss you will have to lie or persuade the guards that you are with the cult.
Once you are free to move, head inside the main entrance and down the stairs. At the bottom is a large, entryway space. Head to your right/west and you’ll find Roah Moonglow nearby. You can speak to her and talk about what may (or may not) have happened back at the Shattered Sanctum. Ask to trade with her, and you will find the Ring of Spiteful Thunder in her sale inventory.
How to Use Ring of Spiteful Thunder in BG3?
The best way to use the Ring of Spiteful Thunder is with a Tempest Cleric using Thunder damage paired with the Gloves of Belligerent Skies and Spineshudder Amulet. To inflict the ranged reverberation damage, use spells like Chromatic Orb, Destructive Wave, and Thunderwave. Because these spells deal Thunder damage, they can also trigger the Spiteful Thunder bonus on the ring.
