What is Seemingly Gleaming Ring in BG3?
In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Seemingly Gleaming Ring is an accessory piece that any class or companion can equip to receive a +1 to their Charisma Saving Throws and a -1 to all Wisdom Saving Throws. Saving throws are an important part of combat in Baldur’s Gate 3, and can determine how hard of a hit you take from enemies. An attack will trigger an automatic dice roll representing the target’s attempt to save themselves from harm.
In this case, a +1 to Charisma Saving Throws would increase your ability to ward off harmful effects dealt by Charisma-based spells and attacks. By contrast, a -1 to Wisdom Saving Throws would mean that you have a lesser chance of fending off attacks from Wisdom-based spells.

How to Get Seemingly Gleaming Ring in BG3?
To get the Seemingly Gleaming Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3 you must find Carm’s Garm clothing shop during Act 3, steal from the NPC Naaber, and then speak to him repeatedly.
Step 1- How to Find Carm’s Garm
When you first arrive in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, you will be outside of the city in Rivington. Make your way north to the guarded bridge that leads into Wyrm’s Rock Fortress. This large bridge is lined with shops and other places of business, and you can find Carm’s Garm clothing shop at the end of the bridge on the right/east side.
As soon as you go inside, Naaber will immediately make himself known. Moreover, if you ignore him, he’ll follow you and your party around until you speak to him. Start a conversation and choose whichever dialogue options you like in any combination.
Step 2- Steal the Absolute Confidence Amulet
Then, when the conversation ends, speak to him again. Click the Character Select button on the lower left of the screen and switch to another character who has a high-level Sleight of Hand skill. We recommend Astarion if your own character isn’t skilled enough.
Move Astarion around behind Naaber and pickpocket the Absolute Confidence Amulet from Naaber.
Step 3- Claim the Seemingly Gleaming Ring
Return to speaking with Naaber. You’ll have to start conversations with him several times, going one by one through all of the available dialogue options.
Finally, at the end of the conversation gauntlet, Naaber will reward you with the Seemingly Gleaming. This accessory will automatically be placed in your inventory.
How to Use Seemingly Gleaming Ring in BG3?
The Seemingly Gleaming Ring is a risk-reward item in Baldur’s Gate 3, and it is not a recommended part of most builds at end game. Therefore, your use of this ring should be situational, depending on the types of enemies you face. However, this is a strategy best applied when you know the spell types and attacks of enemies you will soon be facing. For example, if you know you’ll be facing Monk or Druid-type enemies, then you should unequip the Seemingly Gleaming Ring. Their spell attacks will often be Wisdom-based, and wearing this ring will make you weaker against them.
On the other hand, if you are facing high Charisma-based enemies similar to Bards and Warlocks, then this accessory could be useful.
FAQs about Seemingly Gleaming Ring in BG3
Q1: Where can I find Seemingly Gleaming Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Answer: Find Naaber at Carm’s Garm in Wyrm’s Crossing and first steal the Absolute Confidence Amulet from him. Then, speak to him repeatedly and use up all of the available dialogue options. Finally, Naaber will reward you with the Seemingly Gleaming Ring.
Q2: Which classes or builds benefit most from Seemingly Gleaming Ring?
Answer: The Seemingly Gleaming Ring is a risk-reward accessory, and the benefits of it are determined more by the enemies you are facing rather than the class you are playing. Q3: Is the Seemingly Gleaming Ring a good accessory in BG3?
Answer: No, the Seemingly Gleaming Ring is not an optimal accessory in Baldur’s Gate 3. By the time you can collect it in Act 3, you should already have better available accessories for your builds. Additionally, as you get into the city and all of the available traders and quest loot inside, you’ll also find much better gear options for your party.
