Let me guide you on how to easily acquire the Potion Chef Achievement from the Chapter 4: Final Dawn in Split Fiction.
Split Fiction is filled with some well-written pieces of Science fiction and fantasy. The game not only perfectly grabs our attention with a full-blown story, but also manages to give us a break with some unique side missions, riddled with humor and good puzzles.
This Achievement can be obtained in the Moon Market Side Mission with the help of some crafting and brewing processes. This mission is a part of Chapter 4: Final Dawn. Let’s put on our magic hats and brew ourselves the Achievement in the most wizardly manner possible.
Step 1 – Moon Market
Play through the Chapter till the game introduces the Red and Blue Laser Walls for the first time. Once you reach the platform before the second set of Red and Blue Walls, you can instead of turning right, decide to go straight. Use your energy guns on the nodes to the side and power up the door.
Make your way up the steps of platforms, and power up the next set of nodes with your energy gun. Go past the bridge, and you will see an orbiting portal. Once you interact with it, you both will teleport to the Side Mission Moon Market.
Step 2 – Save the Stray Cats
Once inside the fantasy land, both of you need to run forward till you reach the end of the wooden bridge. A ghost boat will park before the bridge, and you both need to embark. Interact with the boat, and watch the ship set sail, while you enjoy the serene magical land.
Exit the boat once it halts in front of the Moon Market. Zoe gives us the first task to save the stray cats.
The first yellow stray cat would be sitting right in front of your path. Interact with the cat, run towards the gate in front, and open the door. These gates can only be opened when the cat which matches the cat’s eye color on the gate, is caught.
Once the gate opens, you are tasked with capturing three more cats which run away immediately as the gate opens.
Step 3 – Brew the Spell
Walk forward and you will see a small stall with a brewing pot glowing green in color. Approach the stall and observe the board right beside the pot. This board lists some potion recipes that will help create some fun spells.
Approach the ingredients scattered in the stall, add them to the brewing pot, and wait for the spell to get ready. Once it is ready, a spell spawns on the table in front of the pot. The host player can now take a sip from the spell and watch the fun unravel as you transform into a random being. Follow this process six times guided by the recipes available and you will receive the Potion Chef Achievement.
