In Baldur’s Gate 3 The Sacred Star is the strongest of the Morningstars you can acquire in game, and is particularly strong against the Undead. The primary bonus here is the extra Radient damage the weapon deals along with Radiant Strike. On a successful hit, you will inflict one turn of Radiating Orb upon your target. Radiating Orb is a condition where those inflicted have –1 to Attack Rolls per remaining turn. It also sheds bright light in an area surrounding it.
The weapon’s strength against the Undead is found in the Sanctified Weapon perk. This gives a chance for a successful hit against an Undead creature to possibly inflict the Turned condition. A Turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from the creature who turned it as possible, without attacking. The condition only goes away when the creature takes damage. This could be a useful way to take some of the pressure off when you have a group of undead all trying to attack at once.
Finally, the last bonus on this weapon is only active if you have it equipped to the character’s Main Hand slot. Doing so will mean that even when you miss an attack, The Sacred Star will still deal 1 Bludgeoning damage regardless.

How to Get The Sacred Star in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Sacred Star can be purchased from Vicar Humbletoes in the Stormshore Tabernacle, City of Baldur’s Gate, during Act 3. The Tabernacle is located on the far east side of the city, conveniently located close to the Basilisk Gate Waypoint. You can also find other items for purchase, such as the Reviving Hands and the Mantle of the Holy Warrior. Additionally, in the Tabernacle basement you can find the Amulet of the Devout.
If the item is not in the merchant’s inventory at the time you visit, come back after a Long Rest or leveling up. Merchants often reset or restock their inventory after either or both of these events.
