Players can use these items to upgrade their Pals, but they can miss out on this super useful update if they are not careful.

How To Get
Ancient Pal Manuscripts are used to boost Pal’s productivity, such as kindling, mining, and crafting, and can only be obtained in two ways:
Bounties
Players can find Bounty Targets as NPC bosses in Palworld. These Pals are highlighted with a red aura, and their icons are visible on the map, and after defeating the boss, players get rewarded with Bounty Tokens. Trade these tokens to Vigilante Bounty Officers and get the Ancient Pal Manuscripts. Also, players can find these Vigilante Bounty Officers in most towns.
Pal Expeditions
After building a Pal Expedition Station, which unlocks at level 15, players can send Pals on expeditions. However, they need to defeat the tower boss to unlock individual expeditions. Here are some expeditions which can give Ancient Pal Manuscript as rewards:
- Cave in the Grassland
- Forest’s Secret Realm
- Volcanic Inferno Cave
- Hidden Ruins of the Desert
- Dark Cave of Feybreak
- Spirit Blossom Cave
How To Use
When the expeditions and bounties are done, players should have enough manuscripts for upgrades. To use these rare items, players need to build the Pal Research Laboratory, which unlocks at level 20. Players can craft this lab with 10x ingots and 10x paldium fragments. These manuscripts are a great source of upgrading Pal’s passive skills such as crafting, mining, and other productivity stats.
