Once you manage to steal valuable items from NPCs without getting caught red-handed, your next goal is to sell them to get some profit for yourself. While you can sell stolen items to merchants like any other goods, there’s a catch—most traders can recognize stolen items. Fortunately, they won’t report you to the guards, but selling stolen goods does have drawbacks. While most traders refuse to buy stolen items, some will accept them but only at significantly reduced prices.
However, selling them to Fence yields more profit than standard traders. You can find the Fence Whitebeard early in the game west of Troskovitz inside the Nomad’s Camp. Since Fences are involved in shady businesses, they will make a fair deal with your stolen goods, offering a decent price compared to standard merchants.

How To Remove the Stolen Status of Items in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
In addition to the above methods, you can remove the stolen status from items to make them legal and maximize your earnings. Stolen items are marked with a small red hand icon in your inventory. To remove this status, store them in your personal stash, such as the chests found near your bed. Wait for a while, perhaps 1-2 in-game weeks. The items will lose the stolen status, allowing you to sell them at the best price.
Additionally, perks like Hustler (unlocks at level 10) and Partner in Crime (unlocks at level 20) allow you to sell stolen items more efficiently.
