Throughout the journey, every action you take provides experience in various stats that Henry has. These stats have their skill sets, which are called perks. In general, perks are powerful permanent upgrades to your character that unlock a myriad of buffs and features.
To unlock these perks, you need to spend perk points. You can gain perk points by leveling up your skills. Leveling up skills is very simple, as all you need to do is gain experience in the specific skill where you want to unlock perks. Obtaining Perk Points in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
When you do something in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you gain experience for it. This experience then levels up its corresponding skill. Experience for each skill is calculated separately, so swinging your sword levels up your Swordsmanship Skill and not your Stealth Skill. Open the player menu to track how much experience you need to upgrade a skill. In fact, for every two level-ups in a skill, you gain a perk point.
Be sure to keep track of your perk points, as they are not shared among skills. For example, you can only use a perk point earned in Craftsmanship to unlock Craftsmanship perks, not Houndmaster perks. Obtaining a perk point is notified by a golden notification on the top right corner of the screen.
Using Perk Points in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Once you gain a perk, you can use it through the player menu. Go to the skill where you have a perk point. A golden star-like icon marks the skills and perks you can unlock. From here, simply select the perk you wish to obtain and double-click on it. This unlocks the perk permanently for you. Furthermore, you need to reach a minimum level to unlock each perk. Additionally, some even have a prerequisite perk that you need to unlock.
