These indicators are system messages. These symbols inform you of the environment you are in. If you see Fight indicators, you are in combat. On the other hand, Confrontation indicators denote that you have been spotted somewhere you are not supposed to be. Understanding this system is crucial to surviving in this game.
Search
A white hare icon will pop up if you remain under stealth. This icon will appear when people around you are suspicious of any criminal act and are searching the area.
You don’t need to worry if you’re not linked to a crime. However, if you are suspected to be the perpetrator, this white hare will gain a magnifying glass. Therefore, you should immediately get out of the area and avoid the ones searching for you.
Recognition

A yellow hare symbolizes this phase. Additionally, if NPCs start recognizing you, the ears of the hare will go up.
They start moving toward you if they detect you. The yellow hare will flash red if you get detected. This flash will warn you. So if you see it, vacate the area.
Confrontation
This one is denoted by yellow and orange hare icons. In this phase, NPCs will actively confront you for any actions you are doing. Wandering in areas you are not supposed to be in will get you kicked out. However, this is not the only consequence.
Firstly, if any civilian spots you committing a crime, they will report you to any guards in the vicinity. Then, if a guard is able to find you, you will get arrested for whatever crime you were committing at the moment. The yellow hare with a horn will indicate the civilian reporting to a guard. Lastly, the orange hare holding its hand up shows law enforcement stopping you.
Fight

This is the most dangerous of indicators. It indicates that you are in combat. The orange hare with a sword means that you are part of combat but are not presented with an immediate threat. Therefore, you can bandage up your wounds and heal from your inventory.
However, when the orange hare turns red, the situation is critical. It means there is an immediate threat to you. This is indicated by two red hares with crossing swords.
These Behavior Indicators in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can save your life in a critical moment. Therefore, you should ensure that you know these icons well. Reacting to the indicators in time could mean the difference between life and death.
