Runescape Dragonwilds has been shadow-dropped as an early access game on Steam, but is it also available on Xbox Game Pass?
Jagex’s latest entry, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, delivers a fresh new survival twist for the iconic franchise. While the game is set in the Runescape universe, you can expect a new gameplay experience. Nonetheless, you still have plenty of quests and bits of story that you can immerse yourself in.
The new title is currently on early access and can be purchased on Steam. Unfortunately, it is currently not available in Xbox Game Pass. This is a norm for most early access titles. However, there is good news as console ports are in the works and will arrive around 2026.

What is Runescape Dragonwilds About?
Runescape Dragonwilds is an open-world survival crafting title based on Jagex’s iconic franchise. The game is set in Ashenfall, an uncharted continent where dragons have been reawakened, led by the Dragon Queen. As you venture into the world, you’ll discover ancient secrets. These secrets could hold the key to defeating these dragons once and for all.
Dragonwilds has survival gameplay mechanics similar to those of Valheim. You collect resources and build yourself a shelter, prepare food, and forge tools and weapons. The tools and weapons you make will come in handy if you want to survive and prepare for the impending dragon threat. Killing the Dragon Queen is possibly the climax of the game. You can team up with up to three friends to go on an adventure and explore what Ashenfall has to offer.
