Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 fans are well accustomed to the abilities system since Peter’s Spider Arm and Miles’ bioelectricity abilities are available in the prequels as well.

The latest title by Insomniac introduced new abilities for both the heroes as an upgrade in the latest installment. In this title, Peter has access to two very different kinds of abilities – Spider Arms and Anti-Venom. Let’s take a look at all of Peter’s abilities and how they work in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

When it comes to using abilities in Spider-Man 2, players may choose up to four of these to be used in the slot. One can cycle them to see which combination works best for them since one may need to switch them often. This guide covers all of Peter Parker’s abilities and how they work in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Anti-Venom Punch: The symbiote allows Peter to extend his arm to knock back an enemy, thus increasing the range. When knocked back, enemies can stick to the walls or floors. Press L1 + Square to use this ability as well since it falls under the same slot.

Spider Barrage: Peter’s Spider Arms unleashes a volley of attacks that damage the enemy. Press L1 + Square to use the ability, similar to the other two mentioned in this slot.

Anti-Venom Yank: This symbiote ability extends its hands and grabs multiple enemies and yanks them to the ground, as the name suggests. Press L1 + X to use it.

Spider Whiplash: Peter’s Spider Arms lift the enemies up in the air. This ability is useful when fighting against brutes as it can disbalance them and make them lose control when landing on the ground. Since this move falls under the same slot, press L1 + X to use it as well.

Additionally, Peter’s Symbiote Surge ultimate buffs his melee attacks and abilities alike. It is a timed ability, which is available until the bar on the top-right corner of the screen depletes.
