The next generation of Samsung’s foldable phones may be coming very soon, according to the latest reports. As reported by SamMobile, the X (formerly Twitter) user @PandaFlashPro, who is a notable tipster who often discusses Samsung products, has revealed exciting news about the release date for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 smartphones.

It appears that the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are set to launch in July 2025, with mass production reportedly already underway. This means fans may only have about two months left to wait if everything stays on track. However, since a Samsung event has yet to be officially confirmed, the release date could shift. But apart from the release timeline, what else is new? Let’s dive into what we know so far from recent leaks and rumors about these next-generation foldable smartphones.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Galaxy Z Flip 7 Rumored Features: Thin Design, Battery Size, and 200MP Camera

One major upgrade expected in these new foldables is improved durability. According to the same tipster, the Fold 7 will feature a redesigned hinge and an overhauled internal structure that could potentially make it more dust-resistant than its predecessor, the Fold 6. A bigger camera is also expected, potentially a 200MP sensor, which has long been requested by many Samsung foldable users.

The design is also rumored to include a larger camera bump to accommodate this upgrade. Another rumor coming from X user UniverseIce suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be unveiled as the thinnest foldable phone in the world at that time.

The foldable phones will reportedly feature a new generation of Flex Glass technology. Samsung first introduced Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) with the Fold 2, and it is impressive to see the progress since then. Rumors also suggest that the Galaxy Flip 7 will include a full-cover screen, similar to what Motorola Razr phones offer. A recent report from TheTechOutlook also revealed that BIS certification for the two upcoming smartphones listed their battery capacities.

According to the information, the Galaxy Flip 7 will feature a 2,985 mAh battery, and the Fold 7 will include a 4,272 mAh battery.

Naturally, the processor for the Galaxy Fold 7 is expected to be the latest Snapdragon Elite chip. Both devices will ship with One UI 7, featuring optimizations specifically for foldable phones. Additional software enhancements may also be revealed during the upcoming event. This year’s Samsung releases are shaping up to be very exciting, and with major design changes expected, it will be a spectacle to see the Fold 7’s final form when it officially launches.
