Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Enemies

What enemies will Cal face in Jedi: Survivor?

Storm Troopers is the obvious answer to anyone who knows even a little bit about Star Wars! But as Cal continues his journey to reestablish the Jedi Order there will be many more types of enemies to face. Along with larger, especially deadly enemies who will challenge him in Jedi: Survivor.

Coming to Microsoft Windows PCs, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 28, 2023, Jedi: Survivor is single player RPG. The story is set five years after the events which take place in Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal Kestis is now a Jedi Knight, but he is still on the run from the Empire. He is joined by his droid companion BD-1, and the two of them travel the galaxy in search of allies and resources.

With the game’s release still in the future, we can’t for certain list every possible enemy you might face, but the developers have given us information on some. Let’s take a look at the different types of vampire and vampire associated enemies players will be facing!

Imperial Stormtroopers

These baddies were the main enemy type in the previous game Jedi: Fallen Order, and are sure to make a return in Survivor. It’s possible that we might see new varients this time around, but for now here is a list of the stormtrooper types we faced in the first game.

  • Stormtroopers: The basic low-level enemy type. The newest recruits with the lowest level of aim.
  • Scout Troopers: In close quarters combat these enemies will come equipped with stun batons
  • Shield Trooper: These soldiers come equipped with a heavy duty shield that can repel direct hits from a lightsaber.
  • Flame Trooper: As the name implies, these troops come equipped with flame throwers.
  • Heavy Gunner: These soldiers have a machine gun like blaster, which also comes equipped with a shield protect them from the blasts you try to send back
  • Purge Troopers: Elite stormtroopers whose singular purpose is to hunt down Jedi. Often serve with Inquisitors and are the most formidable Imperial soldiers you will encounter.
Jedi Survivor Enemy Droids

Battle Droids

It appears that some of these cheeky fellows have survived the Clone Wars in pockets across the galaxy. Cal will first encounter them early on in the game while stranded on the planet Koboh.

  • B1 Battle Droids: Your basic canon fodder. Their attacks are basic and their defenses weak – any threat mostly comes from overwhelming numbers.
  • B2 Battle Droids: More bulky than the B1s, these droids pack more firepower and better defenses.
  • Droidekas – These mechanical enemies curl up into a ball and roll before unleashing their weapons systems.
  • BX Droid Commandos: BX Droids are shown to be more agile and nimble. The appear to wield energy staves which can deflect basic lightsaber hits. You will want to use a crossguard or two-handed stance against these enemies.
  • KX Droids: Players will clearly remember these foes from Fallen Order – tall, hulking brutes with a penchant for choking Cal.
  • DT Imperial Sentry Droids: These DT-series Droids will likely be among the most elite and challenging machines Cal will face. They will come in three types, each with a different weapon loadout.
  • MagnaGuard: MagnaGuard were first seen in Revenge of the Sith serving as General Grievous’ bodyguards. They wield energy staves, and a ‘simple’ decapitation won’t stop them from attacking you.

Bedlam Raiders

A group of human bounty hunters that are after Cal (and other Jedi) so they can cash in on the money being offered by the Empire. They’ve equipped themselves with energy spears and polearms, so you’ll have to parry their attacks before Cal can land a hit.

Bosses

Not a lot of information about boss enemies has been revealed by Respawn or EA at the time, but we’ll be adding more details as they become available!

Rayvis

He is a male Gen’dai, an alien race in the Star Wars universe which are nearly immortal thanks to their regenerative abilities. Should Cal face him in battle, he would provide a notable challenge, indeed!
