Will character be able to romance NPCs in Starfield?
The ability to romance in-game companions or NPCs has become a staple part of many RPGs, including Bethesda games. Let’s take a look at what we know about Starfield Romance and the potential life partners our character can pursue.
The first new intellectual property developed by Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, Starfield is a hotly anticipated AAA single player, action role playing game which takes place across the vastness of space. Originally scheduled for release in late 2022, Starfield’s new release date is now set for September 6, 2023!
Starfield Romance
Romance in RPG games typically means there are mechanics (whether via dialogue choices or giving certain gifts, etc.) through which the player character can becoming physically or emotionally attached to certain available companions or NPCs in the game.
The ability to romance certain characters in Starfield has been confirmed by Game Director Todd Howard. He has stressed that the romance system for this game will be more nuanced than in previous Bethesda titles. Relationships found in Starfield are “more complex, in terms of whether they like you or don’t like you.”
However, we have yet to learn which specific companions or NPCs will be available. As soon as we have more information, it will be added to this page.
