Gigantrite Throne and Liberty
Throne and Liberty Gigantrite Guide

Gigantrite is a flying whale in Throne & Liberty. The huge whale allows you to ride on her back and tour all the locations of Solisium. If you’ve spent too much time playing Throne and Liberty then you must have seen the Gigantrite flying in the sky. Gigantrite is the last of its kind that flies every three hours in the Solisium. Flying on Gigantrite is a fun part, but you won’t get much incentive from it.

The Gigantrite is a scheduled event and way of transport in the game. Complete the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest by getting into the back of the Gigantrite. Every Throne and Liberty player must know the route where the Gigantrite spawns in the game. Sit back and enjoy the view of Solisium through the Gigantrite’s back. Gigantrite flies alone through the sky, it looks beautiful but it’s a sad story.

What Are Gigantrite in Throne & Liberty?

Gigantrite is a big flying whale in Throne and Liberty that spawns in different locations in Solisium. The Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty lives in the ocean and also escorts its skies. The players will receive a server-wide message in their chat when this sky whale spawns. After every three hours, the Gigantrite will spawn in the game but every time it appears you’ll gain a buff increasing mana regen. Complete the Exploration Codex while mounted on the Gigantrite.

How to ride the Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty

One thing that every Throne and Liberty player must know is that the Gigantrite doesn’t land, so in order to mount on his back, you need to go up. Find out when his next flight will be in Solisium to hop on its back. Move to the tallest tower at Starlight Observatory Ruins when the Gigantrite is about to spawn. You can utilize the grappling hook to reach the top of the tower.

Once you’re on the top of the tower, wait for the Gigantrite to spawn. He’ll grant you enough time to land on his back. He’ll get slow when he flies past the tower. Wait until the Sky Whale is close enough to you. Obviously, there’ll be enough distance between you and Gigantrite, so you can use the Glide Morph to reach Gigantrite and land on his back. Once you’re on his back, you’re free to run on the back or even move to the top of his tail. Now you can zoom out more to see the beauty of Solisium in Throne and Liberty.

 Gigantrite spawns

Not only do you receive a buff-enhancing Mana Regen but also a special announcement in a message to the whole server when the Gigantrite spawns in the Solosium. It’s not official but Gigantrite appears every 3 hours in the game. Stay alert when you receive a message about the arrival of Sky Whale.

How to complete Exploration Codex “Little Friend in the Sky”

Once you board Gigantrite to sightsee or crash Stonegard Castle, you can also accomplish the Little Friend in the Sky Exploration Codex. This Exploration Codex is one of the Nesting Grounds Codex Quest. Look for the Powerless Doll near the right wing of the Sky Whale and continue with the rest of the quest chain. You’ve got enough time to find the Powerless doll but remember that the Gigantrite is huge in size.

Gigantrite Lore

Gigantrite Flying Throne and Liberty Guide

The Gigantrite flies alone through the sky, it looks exciting but that’s a sad story.

“Gigantrite is known to be a member of one of the oldest of the mystical ancient species. According to an ancient text, an entire clan of this species once existed, only to have gone extinct save for this sole individual. It should be noted, however, that there is an account of a fisherman witnessing another of these creatures at sea.

Gigantrite is intimately connected with the flows of Mana, the element that makes up nature. It neither eats, nor sleeps, but rather accumulates energy by slowly absorbing the Mana in the atmosphere. The mana in the atmosphere was much richer in the days when the gods were said to have walked among us, and Gigantrite of the time were known to have soared through the sky each day, absorbing sufficient energy as they followed the movement of the sun. Gigantrite also played a role in providing vitality to other creatures, circulating the flow of Mana in nature, and purifying darkened energy.

However, soon came the shattering of the Star of Sylaveth and the era of endless wars. This soon caused Mana in the atmosphere to become turbid and dim, which ultimately led one Gigantrite after another to return to the sea and perish. It is said that the last thing living Gigantrite missed the rest of its species so dearly that it succumbed to an endless slumber near an island emanating a strong aura of mana. Thousands of years have passed since then, and the existence of the Gigantrite has long remained little more than a legend in Solisium, akin to tales of giants and dragons.

About 20 years ago, a lone Gigantrite was spotted once more around Whisp Island. People considered it a good omen; a sign that an age of peace was sure to come. It became a tradition to say a prayer for peace whenever the Gigantrite was witnessed flying high up in the sky. Though this Gigantrite once had two horns, one of them broken. Some say it was the work of an ancient giant; others say that it was the recent work of Arkeum. However, there are no credible theories as to the cause.”

The Benefits of Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty
