Locations of Poppy in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The description of poppy in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is very vague. The codex says, “It is found abundantly in fields and furrows as a bothersome weed,” which doesn’t explain where it can be found. The game is full of fields when you travel, yet not all of them have poppies for you to pick. You can usually find these red-flowered plants growing near wheat farms or very open areas with direct sunlight. The distinct red color is hard to miss amidst the greenery around it.
One of the earliest locations where you can get Poppy is to buy it from Aranka at the Nomad’s Camp in the Trosky Region. From her inventory, you can buy bushels of poppy and other useful items such as recipes and potions. Moreover, poppy has a low weight of 0.1 and can be bought for very cheap. Some other vendors and apothecaries throughout Bohemia also sell poppies in their inventory, but they can be hard to come by. You can also loot poppies from chests with easy lockpicking.
