How to Get Le Fusil Terribles in Fallout 4
To get Le Fusil Terribles in Fallout 4 you will need to reach the floating raider encampment location of Libertalia. Libertalia is far to the east side of the Fallout 4 map, along the coast directly east of Bunker Hill or northeast of Goodneighbor.
Thankfully, this raider stronghold does not require a high character level to attempt. Depending on difficulty settings, it’s possible to attack this location around level 15. You will have to fight through a lot of raider enemies, but nothing should be too challenging.
As you make your way across all of the wrecked ship decks and wooden platforms, keep an eye out for the tallest ship end sticking out of the water. It hulks up almost like a hill, with structures built all around it. When you approach a raider on a cable car will be coming down towards you. Kill him, and you can use the cable car to get yourself over to the other side.
There will again be lots of raider enemies to fight though as you make your way up to the top, where you will locate the captain’s cabin. Captain Wire will be inside and you’ll have to fight him first before you can claim the shotgun. However, if you have a high enough level of stealth, you could also attempt to sneak by him.
Inside the door to the captain’s cabin, make your way straight across the room and up the short wooden stair. On this platform, you will see a yellow crate on the left, and sitting on top of the crate will be Le Fusil Terribles.

How to use Le Fusil Terribles
Le Fusil Terribles is a unique shotgun with the Violent effect, which gives you a 25% boost to damage and limb damage. This effect means you’ll have nearly the same boost to damage at the Crippling effect, which can incapacitate targets. However, the downside to this effect is that the gun has an increased recoil. You can create the Recoil Compensating Stock modification to tamper the recoil back down some. Additionally, if you make regular use of the V.A.T.S., then the increase in recoil is almost negligible.
Overall, the Le Fusil Terribles is a strong weapon choice for a Shotgun Build. Moreover, to get the most power out of it you’ll want to remember to apply the Rifleman perk. This may seem counterintuitive, but this perk will apply to shotguns so long as it has a semi-automatic receiver.
