Leveling in MMORPGs can be very boring, but every player needs to go through it to get to the max level and start enjoying the endgame. Throne and Liberty are no different than any other MMORPG, but developers have greatly tried to reduce the time needed to reach the maximum level. Every player should focus on Main Story Quests and Side Quests for Leveling up 1-50 and earn a huge amount of EXP.
You will not be able to progress with the Main Side Quests sometimes due lower level in the game. In these scenarios, completing the Exploration Codex Quest will help you reach the next level in the game. The Adventure Codex has all the main quests and completing these objectives will let you level up quickly and gain additional XP. The alternate way to level up from 1-50 in the Throne and Liberty is by completing the Contracts (daily quests) given by the Contract Manager NPC. Here’s everything you need to know that’ll make your leveling fast and efficient.
Leveling Content in Throne and Liberty
Knowing how the leveling system works is essential for every Throne and Liberty player. The best way to level up is to complete all types of quests and Contracts in the game. The max level in Throne and Liberty is 50, but this number may vary in the future.
The original version of Throne and Liberty, released in Korea, has a max level of 70, whereas the global version is being released with a max level of 50. To reach level 50 quickly, aim to finish quests, contracts, and dungeons. After completing all quests, you earn EXP, which is crucial for leveling in the game.
Starting off, you’re going to land in the tutorial. Work your way through that they show you some of the very basics of the game. When you finish the Tutorial, you will be teleported to the Kastleton. From here, you’re prioritizing the main Story, Purple Quest. Open the Codex menu and you’ll see three tabs on the top of the screen.
You’ll have Adventure Codex (Main story quest). The adventure codex has side quests as well. Do the exploration quests in whatever zone is appropriate for your level. Press the M button to go through the zones. Complete the exploration quests for the XP to get you back on track.
- Codex: Complete the Main Story Quest (Adventure Codex), Side Quests (Exploration Codex), and contracts (Daily Quests) to level up from 1-50.
- Dynamic Events: Events can be in the form of World Boss Events or collection-based events.
- Dungeons: Gain XP and other exclusive rewards for leveling up by completing all three types of Dungeons.
- Taedal’s Tower: Secret Dungeons where fighting unique bosses grant you a huge amount of XP and Growthstones.
- Co-op Dungeons (Dimensional): Complete the Specter’s Abyss, Roaring Temple, and Cave of Desperation dungeons with all your six party members to gain XP.
- Open World Dungeons (Abyssal): Unlock Abyssal Tokens at level 18, complete the Open World dungeons and get loot.
How to Level from 1 – 50 Throne and Liberty
You need to complete the Exploration Codex with some Adventure Codex and Co-op Dungeons to level up 1-50 in Throne and Liberty. There are four types of quests in the game that every Throne and Liberty player must complete from time to time.
- Main Storyline Contracts – Purple
- Exploration/Side Contracts – Blue
- Resistance/Daily Contracts – Yellow
- Guild Contracts – Green
When leveling up in the game, finishing the MSQ should be everyone’s priority as you’ll gain a chunk of EXP. The EXP you earn from completing the quests will help you to reach the next high level. Keep in mind that they act as a filler between Main Story Quests. You can get Contracts from the Contract Vendors in most major towns in Throne and Liberty. Completing the contracts will let you earn EXP and growth materials.
Earn Abyss Contract Tokens and Sollant by finishing the Contracts in the game. Complete Chapter 3 of the Main Questline to unlock the daily contracts in the game. While you’re leveling up and moving to the new areas in the game, you’ll encounter new Contract Managers.
The contracts available from the new contract managers are difficult but provide you with more EXP and other rewards. The Daily Contracts in Throne and Liberty are going to be a major part of your Daily Routine before and after you reach the Max level. The objectives of these Contracts are to defeat the enemies in that area, collect new materials, or fulfill other tasks.
You need to cover all ten Chapters in the game, along with the Main Story Quests, Side quests, Contracts, and each type of Dungeon in the game to level up fast. Completing the Main Adventure Codex will let you level up 1-50 faster but you also need to complete all types of quests when MSQ isn’t helping you in leveling up. We’ll be going to zone-to-zone activity to actively.
Level 1 to 50 Leveling Locations in Throne and Liberty
Below is a step by step leveling guide from level 1 to 50 in Throne and Liberty:
- Levels 1 to 17: Tutorial through Main Adventure Codex Chapter 3.
- Levels 17 to 18: Use Urstella Fields Exploration Quests.
- Level 18 to 21: Main Adventure Codex Chapter 4
- Level 21 to 23: Complete side Quests from Main Adventure Codex, clear Exploration Quests, and Specter Abyss Co-op Dungeon for chapter 4.
- Level 23 to 26: Main Adventure Codex Chapter 5
- Level 26 to 28: Complete side quests from Main Adventure Codex, clear some Explorations Quests, and Monolith Wastleands Exploration Quests and Monolith Wastelands Contracts.
- Level 28 to 30: Main Adventure Codex Chapter 6
- Level 30 to 32: Complete Exploration Quests in Abandoned Stonemason Town and Contracts from Vienta Village. Clear Exploration Quests in Moonlight Desert zone.
- Level 32 to 35: Adventure Codex Chapter 7
- Level 35 to 38: End Exploration Quests in Moonlight Desert Zone, Sandworm Lair, and Daybreak Shore.
- Level 38 to 42: Finish Adventure Codex Chapter 8
- Level 42 to 45: Fulfill Exploration Quests in Daybreak Shore (At Night) and Raging Wilds.
- Level 45 to 48: Complete Adventure Codex Chapter 9
- Level 48 to 50: Finish Adventure Codex Chapter 10
Levels 1 to 17
The game starts in the tutorial area. Move to the Prelude and you’ll be teleported to the docks in Kastleton. At the end of chapter 1, you need to complete the “Janice’s Advice” quest in which you have to get a key by investigating a book. Complete the additional quests after reaching Chapter 2. Interact with the bottle before entering the Ship in Chapter 2 to gain EXP.
Levels 17 to 18
Make sure to obtain the green items available in the game before moving into Urstella Fields. Get 4 Green Armors, 2 Green Weapons, and 2 Green Accessories. Obtain these materials by crafting them at the end of Chapter 4. Complete the Urstella Fields Exploration Quests at Levels 17 to 18.
Levels 18 to 21
Equip the Quality Lithograph: Accessories and Finish 4x Resistance Contracts. You can also equip the Rustic Mother Nature Rings. Lethal Fortune Ring which is best for DPS users. Purchase Mystic Keys and complete Mystic Globes. Get 4 Quality Lithograph: Accessories before finishing the Appendix Quest. Complete the Chapter 3. A True Captain quest that requires you to investigate the Gnoller’s Staff.
Finish the Chapter 3. Appendix: Ashien’s Strange Painting. This quest introduces Taedel’s Tower to you after examining the painting. Keep in mind that each floor is locked and requires a certain level to unlock but grants you EXP and useful materials. Complete the main adventure codex chapter 4.
Levels 21 to 23
Finish the Specter Abyss Co-op Dungeon for Chapter 4 Main Adventure Side Quest. Complete the main adventure codex at level 23. This quest will grant you EXP and progression to the next level. Head to the Vienta Village and unlock the Monolith Wastelands by interacting with its waypoint to complete the Exploration Codex Quests in this area. Treasure of Daybreak requires you to search for a treasure that is available in the morning.
Levels 23 to 26
Complete an “A Sacred Pledge of Blood” after reaching level 24. Continue making contracts and side quests in or around Vienta Village and Monolith Wastelands.
Levels 26 to 28
Complete Chapter 5 all of the Appendixes. If you don’t finish the Monolith Wastelands Exploration Codex Quests then you’ll be at level 26. Completing all the Monolith Wastelands Exploration Codex Quests allows you to move to level 27.
Move to the Taedal’s Tower, finish floors you haven’t completed up to the 4th floor. Unlock the waypoint by heading to the Abandoned Stonemason Town. Complete the first two portions of the Stonemason’s Confession quest and leave the third part of the quest as it’s time-consuming. Complete the “Bonanza Hidden Brown Mica” and “The Basilisk King” and Exploration Quests from Abandoned Stonemason Town.
Levels 28 to 30
Players need to end the “Restoring the Heart” quest in Chapter 6. Rotate the collected items to obtain the purple diamonds. Once you complete Chapter 6, you’ll gain rewards.
Levels 30 to 32
You’ll reach level 30 after completing Chapter 6 and its Appendixes. Complete the “Roaring Temple” dungeon and open the chest to gain 45K EXP. Go back and complete the Won! Golem’s Manastone during nighttime. Clear the Taedel’s Tower floors 3-5 and move to the Vienta Village towards Moonlight Desert. After reaching there, you can get access to the waypoint to start the Exploration Quest.
Levels 32-35
A “Valuable Scale” quest is locked behind a Milestone at the beginning of the server. When the day changes into night, the first portion of the “Queen’s Blessing” quest is available. Finish this quest by teleporting back here to finish all of its parts. You’ll reach level 32 after completing these quests. Complete the Secret in the Sand Dust quest, follow the doll, and select the right hole in which the doll didn’t enter. Move into the Sandworm Lair alongside Chapter 7 to finish the Chapter 7 Adventure Codex Quests. Remember that the following quests are locked behind the Milestone.
- Monster Researcher’s Requests
- Blood Mushroom’s Seduction
Levels 35-38
Clear the Taedel Tower floor 6 and move to the Sanctuary Oasis to get to the Daybreak Shore, and complete the Exploration Quests. You need to complete the Daybreak Shore’s quests during the night. Complete the “Collection: To Pirate King Adelico” and find the page. Get the page from the backside of a little hill near the water. Finish all Sandworm Lair Exploration Quests. Complete the Voice Behind the Mask quest in the Sandworm Lair (Exploration Quest).
Levels 38-42
Complete Chapter 8 in Throne and Liberty and clear the Exploration Quests in The Raging Wilds. You need to kill several bosses in Chapter 8. Finish the Havres Boss Fight. Go towards the heart that breaks the casing when the Havres becomes immune to damage. Destroy the heart to give damage to the havres. Clear the Risieth Boss Fight by using the puddles to put out the burning stacks.
Levels 42-45
Complete all the Exploration Quests that are available. Finish the Daybreak during the day and complete some quests that should be completed during the night. Complete the Danger within Peace quest. Find any four pages within the zone. One of the pages can be found from the waypoint. Fulfill the Raging Wilds Exploration Quests by completing a series of puzzles. The following are the puzzles that you need to complete.
- Golem Platform Puzzle
- Pegasus
- Color Tones
Levels 45-48
Complete the main story quest. Investigate the Relic by rotating and connecting the lines starting from the top to bottom.
Levels 48-50 (Endgame)
Complete the Adventure Codex Chapter 10. Select yellow and blue half-moons for the moon puzzles. Complete all the full moons by matching the opposite color and size of the moon placed over your head. Match the blue gibbous (3/4) moon with a yellow crescent (1/4) moon.
