How to Get Larethian’s Wrath in BG3?
To get Larethian’s Wrath in BG3 you must find Crèche Y’llek underneath the Rosymorn Monastery and then trade with the Githyanki merchant A’jak’nir Jeera.
Step 1- Discover Crèche Y’llek
To begin, take the Mountain Pass exit in the northwest corner of the Act 1 map to reach the Rosymourn Monastery Trail. However, we recommend waiting until you are at least level 4 or 5 before venturing here, as the area contains powerful enemies and significant story events. Additionally, leaving the main Act 1 map before resolving the Druid Grove and Goblin Camp conflicts may lock you out of certain side quests.
Once on the Rosymourn Monastery Trail, continue heading north and then east until you reach the ruins of the monastery. Here, you’ll start the steps to uncover The Blood of Lathander. Beneath the monastery, you’ll also find the entrance to the Crèche through some broken floor sections. If you’ve recruited Lae’zel, bring her along, as she will help you get by the guards more easily
Step 2- Find Merchant A’jak’nir Jeera
Once you are past the initial group of guards, you should be able to freely move around the Crèche. Next, you can find the Githyanki quartermaster A’jak’nir Jeera to the south of the Crèche Y’llek waypoint. Furthermore, you should prioritize going to her first because certain story events may eventually make her unavailable. She will have Larethian’s Wrath for sale and you can buy it for 325 gold.
How to Use Larethian’s Wrath in BG3?
To make the most of the Larethian’s Wrath longsword in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll want to use it with a frontline melee build such as Fighter, Cleric, or Paladin. All three of these classes will have the Martial Weapons proficiency needed to be able to access the Razor Gale weapon action. This action causes your character to swing their weapon around in a full 360-degree circle, dealing damage to all enemies within a 4-meter range. Furthermore, this attack can be used once per Short Rest.
Fighers, Clerics, or Paladins will use this weapon the best not only because they have proficiency, but because they are the most likely to be in the thick of battle. Especially against larger groups of enemies, they are more likely to become surrounded by multiple creatures. Additionally, they will have higher AC, or more defense, against enemies if they need to run into the thick of them. Triggering this weapon action when you have enemies on all sides will deal great AOE damage. Moreover, even if your attack roll misses an enemy, it will still take half the amount of damage.
